So, number 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 have not played. That means only 5 spots are open for the takings
I think Tokugawa, Sanada, and Ryoma is a given at this point. Akutsu is likely as well, due to the hint a day earlier.
That leaves ONLY 1 spot open. I'm guessing Fuji will takes that spot.
Or Kirihara, even Kaidoh (you never know...)
The only thing we can do is guess right now.
I would rule out Kirihara for the top 10 at least, but definitely not for the top 20. I am very much expecting to see an "out of nowhere" devil mode version 2.0 and explode his way back up the tier, just like he did against Krauser in PoT1. That is very much the way Konomi writes Kirihara. Let him slide off the tier a little bit so everyone forgets about him and then BAM! Hello tier jump.
I think Sanada and Ryoma are the only ones that are a given. Possibly Kintarou, though I'm not confident in that. As for Kazuya, I'm not convinced that Konomi is even going to use him ultimately. Because of my "middle schoolers only" theory, I believe Kazuya is going to be defeated in the end, and be replaced by a middle schooler. I'm guessing Byoudouin will become fodder for Kazuya (or vice versa), who will then fall at the hands of Echizen. Just a theory. The only person I think has the highest chances of being top 10 would be Akutsu, simply because Konomi has been building hype over this guy since chapter one. He has to get the spotlight soon.
Konomi has already told us who's playing these matches. It's all the players who appeared on that two-page spread before the matches.

In other words, what order would those five play in?
Next match: Sanada vs Tanegashima
Doubles match: Oni/Oomagari vs Akutsu/Kaidou (Kirihara, Shiraishi can play in Kaidou's place, so one of those three)
S1: Byodouin vs Tokugawa
Last match: Ryoma vs Ryoga
Is 100% sure Ryoma, Sanada and Akutsu will play, taking the spots for numbers 4, 2 and 5. That leaves No.1 that can be either Tokugawa or Byodouin nad number 6 that can be Shiraishi, Tachibana, Kaidou or even Fuji.
So the top ten will look like this at the end:
No.8 Tohno (or Marui if he replaces him)
No.1 Byodouin or Tokugawa
No.5 and 6 could also be Oni/Oomagari if they win, or it turns out Oomagari and Oni are singles players, then in that case I see Fuji taking the No.6 spot, and Akutsu the No.5 spot. Akutsu will win, Konomi's giving him so much hype so a win against Oni is what is most likely, same with Sanada and Ryoma who both need to show they're the strongest players and win against Shuuji and Ryoga respectively.
Ryoma, Sanada and Akutsu will definitely make it, if Fuji plays then there's no doubt about it. Unsure about Tokugawa.
Akutsu playing doubles? That's not going to happen (unless he gets something like an "I'm not a jerk anymore" aura).
Akutsu a jerk playing doubles? Kite who's the biggest jerk yet he played well after aiming at Marui, the players attitude isn't a problem anymore, any pair that appears will make a good combination, even if is Akutsu with Fuji, Kaidou...
I was thinking Akutsu/Shiraishi or Akutsu/Fuji. But now that Marui deserted Jackal for a match, I reckon Tachibana can desert Chitose for one match.
They won't be winning I don't think.
But yeah, I don't think both Tachibana and Shiraishi can appear.
I can´t believe you compare Akutsu to Atobe and Kite... Kite and Atobe are at least rational people that love playing tennis, Akutsu isn´t.
And come on, Akutsu is not just a jerk... he is THE jerk. No one would play a doubles match with him AS HE IS TODAY.
