Maybe 10th already saw a soul weapon in action, so he just remembered the "feeling" of its aura and since Frankenstein's power base is "evil", the whole appearance of Dark Spear and its vibes are much more intimidating and menancing in the terms of feelings, than any other soul weapon.
Or so I think
This panel is... pretty terrible.
Noblesse has often had an overriding theme of the nature and the obligations of nobility(or positions of power). Raizel and characters like him believe that the power they have obligates them to protect and serve the weak. The Union people thus far seem to believe that their power gives them the right to make the weak serve them.
Often conflicts in Noblesse have come down to this difference between philosophies and, I suspect, at the heart of it all are the Traitors. A group of Nobles useing their power to exploit humanity instead of protect them. I think this basic philosophy is something we can expect to see in all the Union people, human and otherwise.

Wow, Noblesse kicks so much ass. Chapters like this are great because we get to see Franky let loose a bit and have some fun. It didn't feel slow to me at all, I'm enjoying this pace actually.
And they doesn't see, what's happening above, only sounds of the battle ... no wonder, if they think "Oh God, our allies are probably turning into the minced heap of meat right now!" since they doesn't have a chance to think opposite (they doesn't know the extend of Raizel's and Frankenstein's powers).
I hope they will be pretty fascinated by the outcome
Its kind of hard to wait for the chapter - thinking of the possible outcomes.
I guess M-21 is probably pretty popular but really the places where I think the Noblesse story really thrives is when the story focuses on the Nobles or School kids. The enhanced humans (Tao, M-21, and Takeo) do a better job in a supporting role. I like them but if there is to be a series of chapters focusing on a single character I'd much rather it be Seira or Regis or even Shin Woo.
Unless of course, it's a pairing arc (In which case I'd give it a pass)
