TOO MUCH TO ANSWER!
Meh, maybe I'm just making excuses because the first few episodes didn't impress me much I don't doubt that it's a good series but I questioning if it's my kind of humor. Dunno, I heard it improves later. Maybe I will just do what Zel that and skip the first twenty or so episodes.
Sounds quite harsh, good luck! Though I'm pretty sure you will do fine I think you told me once what you're studying but I totally forgot
My days probably are less busy. Right now there's one huge project I have to prepare together with a friend. We're visiting the place we worked at (for practical training) each week (every wednesday) and have to come up, plan and execute a project together with a group of kids. That means a protocol and a situation analysis each week together with all the planning stuff. Besides that it's some assignments and papers every week, annoying but feasible.
Ah I'm not sure what you've watched yet, do you have some kind of list. At the top of my head I can rec Hunter x Hunter 2011 (time you check it out, damnit XD), AnoHana (that's more or less a slice-of-life drama, not sure how interested you are), Monogatari Series (pretty sure you watched Bakemono, not sure about Nise and Neko), Tekkon Kinkreet (a movie, might make for a good short watch) and Hellsing Ultimate. Trying to think of things you might like, not sure what kind of series you're feeling like watching right now.
And of course the ongoing Psycho-Pass.
I was like "Just goddamn finish them, pleeeeeeeeeease!" all the time, it felt like horribly dragging out the obvious.
True, managing 10 characters is really hard. So far Oda failed to give them near to equal attention, but I don't blame him there because it's a really difficult feat. Maybe that's a reason why the pacing was so bad but if that was the reason he didn't achieve it. I didn't want to say the pacing was horrible for no good reason but it still doesn't change the fact that it was bad, if for a good reason or not.
I could go into way more details here but I don't want to turn this into a huge One Piece discussion, as I'm just not interested enough in the series atm. I just can't understand the high ratings for OP through the whole FI Arc or people saying it was a good arc. Seriously, it's beyond me. That's not meant as an offense but I don't understand it.
Yeah, I know. Sadly
Haha, yeah Let's see how it goes, I'm sure I can endure half a year. It's not like there are years to go like in your case :P
I appreciate that you ask me but uh... I haven't really watched that much comedy. If anything, I would recommend Sket Dance. Really funny and the anime did a good job of adapting the first 130 chapters or so. It's 77 episodes long and is finished by now so there's no hurry to catch up. People always argue if Gintama or Sket Dance is the better comedy. Not like I can judge that as I haven't watched much of Gintama yet but I enjoyed Sket Dance quite a lot, definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something funny
AND YAY, FINISHED!

@niichan : you're an anime nerd on my book, or part of the club. 77 episodes ? Ouch. I'll check it out, along with Gintama (hoping to not be swallowed by an anime frenzy).
@Nuno : tricked by my avy. It happens.
1) Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura are "jack of all trades workers that mostly do very random stuff"
2) Kagura is from another planet (sort of like a Saiyan if you go by Dragon Ball comparisons). She's very strong physically.
3) Shinpachi is useless, and will never be useful physically. His only role in the story is to deliver punch lines. LOL.
4) Gintoki & CO have their "office" in the house that belongs to a woman that runs a bar. They constantly struggle to pay their rent.
5) Gintoki is a samurai, and former fighter against the invading Aliens that have taken over Edo. He had two companions. Katsura (Gaara's seiyuu) who he's still good friends with, and is perhaps the best secondary character (extremely funny), and Takasugi who is sort of the villain in the story.
6) Gintoki & CO clash with the "police" all the time, whom they are somewhat friends with at the same time. Always excellent episodes.
7) Lots of random.
Sorry about that, should be a proper recap, and perhaps spoilers, lol. Very minor anyway.
Economy. Strategy, leadership and economic management
Ah, ganbatte! Hand out bans to the kids if they misbehave.
Oh no, the HxH topic again.
I haven't watched any of the Monogatari series actually.
All in all those two as well as P-P seem like good recs. My main fear about HxH is that I will end up liking it, almost FORCING myself to read the dreadful sketch manga. Oh no the pain...
Also you pose a good question, as I don't know what I want to watch myself. I guess I'm rather neutral. I'm enjoying Gintama, and that's a little of everything usually.

Just watch Gintama slowly-aru! (you will get it)
Time to answer my post dude
Anime nerd? well I guess I deserve that title, somehow. Comedy is the one thing I'm not really knowledgeable about though, as I've always prefered a serious (and ofc good) story. Probably wouldn't have watched and read Sket Dance all the way if there weren't some serious parts in-between.
@niichan : You can confess me you're holding an (secret ?) otaku room, filled by posters, DVDs, puppets, toys still in their box, and stuff I won't be able to name.

I beg you to watch Gintama at least until Yoshiwara arc finished, after that, I will listen your complain wholeheartedly about how boring Gintama is, niichan.
So I'm not your BFF, huh? I watch Gintama too
I will start posting in your thread too.
But say what, do you think it was that bad after that? (The Yoshiwara arc was AMAZING btw, Kevin, Benizakura too, but the former was even better). I watched Yoshiwara recently, say, two weeks ago perhaps? And I think it's been about as good after as before. I haven't really noticed a drop in quality.

Sket Dance is good, but Gintama is great
I'm fairly close to 177, that's good news! So far everything after 70 has been a surprise to me, in regards of knowing when epicness hits. I will not reread your post in hopes of forgetting the numbers.
I'm going to take it super slow. I don't have enough time during my dedicated anime/series hours to really go nuts.
Mh considering that Gintama is that long, maybe I should try to read a bunch of chapters/volumes of the manga first, can go faster that way, then watch the anime halfway or something. Unless if the anime is much better than the manga itself.
And good thing that I know everything you mentioned besides the guy who's a villain Katsura is that guy who is still going against the aliens right? I remember he was the terrorist in one of the episodes I watched, or am I wrong?
Leadership huh? so you're going to be some big player in the economic business? XD
Haha easier said than done but I'm such a good educator, the kids all listen to me There are one or two more problematic ones but I won't be working with them lol
I can assure you that by the time you've watched all the so far released episodes, there probably are only two arcs left you need to read anyway (the mentioned Chimera Ant (really long) and one damn awesome one).
No Monogatari series yet...? Are you kidding me? Holy mother of god that should be your top priority right after HxH. It's probably a hit or miss for you there, you will know after watching 2 episodes.
