There were rumors that Berserk may be on hiatus, but I'm not sure if that's true. Either way, it sucks, because we haven't had a chapter for what, 8 or months?
Heh I'm going to think that Miura actually doen't know what path he should follow with his story. Sorry Miura's fans but there is a moment where we need to question his pace, whatever the quality. What kind of editor does he have ? I find it hard to believe that this one would let this habit go forever.
No chapter in Young Animal #18 (13/09) and Young Animal #19 (27/09).
Gats, are you new to Berserk?
Anyway I just read that :

Oct. 11. Faith in Miura restored
I would think that Miura, like Takehiko Inoue, are the types who are really passionate mangaka. Especially for Miura where this is his life's work, more than two decades of it, we could consider it a masterpiece. And for him to treat it lightly is just not possible. So i'm sure, like any other passionate artists, they need some deep soul searching, questioning their existence, zen, or whatever they need to do to get some inner peace going or light that certain fire to sustain that level of quality in their works.
for Togashi (HxH), he's just lazy, lol.
Did any popular loli games come out in Japan this year? That could explain his absents....
I think he is just doing little by little work preparing for the final stretch and have it so epic.
Like the God hand have to be dealt with, Griffith is going pop out his femto at his castle and Guts is going to have to gain some new resolve. Maybe their son is the reason he will want to stop Griffith instead of running away to freedom with Caska like he is now.
When Miura returns the manga, it'd better be f**king epic beyond epicnessness. I better blow balls hard, like a mofo.
Only 10 months between releases, no big deal
