We're going to lose a ton of good players from this team next year I think. It's bittersweet since the cap is what makes this league great, but it also sucks to see good players have to leave. It's also what makes the Draft so damn interesting.
I'm assuming they resign Flacco. Kurger probably will leave, someone will sign him to a big deal. He's a very good player, but not worth franchising, and making one of the five highest paid pass rushers.
Then there's the whole Reed issue. I think they'll do the same thing they did with Ray before his last contract and let him shop himself around the league, but I REALLY don't feel there's enough money for him here. He'll probably end up in New England which ...fuck...I don't even want to imagine it...
I wouldn't go that far. There have been plenty of good free agent signings over the years. Teams do tend to overpay players at premium positions. Quarterbacks, pass rushers, corners, and wide receivers will get paid over market. Simple case of supply and demand. Pass rushers are always better to draft and develop yourself. There have not been many great free agent quarterback signings in league history. Some good trades, not many good free agents.
I have forgotten, but do you have Netflix?
Ah, well I was asking because of the newly released House of Cards series. I've watched 9 episodes thus far, and it's amazing.
Brilliant. He definitely makes the show. But he's not the only one putting up a strong performance. The show overall has a very high quality in all regards, not just acting.
It's a Netflix original?
I just heard that Baltimore Ravens won, congrats!
can you find us a nice 'angel' smiley?
