well may be shiwoons last task ill be to defeat his master or sth
but i dont see it coming. Y its a manhwa not a manga thats Y
IMO - A match will certainly happen between the two. Shioon is destined to clean up the mess GMR's actions have instigated, and it's only fitting that Shioon takes it up with his master. Especially how a fight will probably be the only way to beat some sense into GMR. The fight will last a while and Shioon only wins because he has the edge in stamina (BH technique will not be used since EoS Shioon would win rather easily with it). At the end GMR admits the error of his ways, acquires a lasting sense of peace from his disciple, and pulls off a "Redemption Equals Death" in atonement.
I am not sure if Goomoonryong will die by the hands of his disciple. I can certainly see them facing each other in the future. There are others factions at play as well. I am hoping to see someone else playing the role of an antagonist.
at this point of the story its hard to say if this fight will happen or not. Cuz we still don't know GMR true objectives, and who are new wave antagonist. Also to me new wave mean new generation, since the beginning we have fights between young people. I think new wave will be focused on the development of Shioon and his ascension as the lead of new murim generation and maybe he will inherit GMR title, if that might happen that mean those 2 will have to fight each other.
Totally agreed, New Waves look to focus on new sets of characters. So far we are seeing young blood introduced to the story, shouldn't be the focus though.
Oh, I definitely think the story is heading towards a showdown between master and student maybe not in the near future but before the end of the manhwa.
Goomoonryong wants to destroy the Alliance because of a few corrupt and greedy masters but the Alliance protects the normal world from that of the murin. I think Shioon will be shown these benefits and become the spokesperson, so to speak, for the Alliance.
Excluding that there's all the killing going on, now I can't say 100% that Goomoonryong has been killing murin in 'New Waves' but that seems to be the picture getting painted. Shioon being who he is will take issue with that.
There's also the possibility that the S.U.C. is affiliated with the B.F.D. and so could actually be under the command of Goomoonryong.
Many, many reasons for them to fight each other. Goomoonryong is the old hope,
LukeShioon is the new hope.
Welcome Asvin to MH and am I glad to see you making your first post in The Breaker Section. Please read the rule to stay trouble-free and if you have any query or question, do contact me or any other global.
I agree with you, the conflict of Ideologies will probably lead them to a battle. Alliance as a whole may not be as bad as it was under the leadership of the previous elder. With Kangsung, I have positive expectations from the Alliance.
Yup, i also think a fight between master and student is coming eventually.
Thinking back to the first part of The Breaker, Goomoonryong was never really "mister wisdom". He was a good fighter but even in the early stages of Shioon's training it seemed like Goomoonryong was learning more about being a decent person from Shioon than the other way around. I could even imagine him turning into a straight up villain.

That's true. After the last three chapters, a duel between them seems to be inevitable. Both of them are walking a path that will cross each others'. Oh man, it will one insane fight, provided Shioon has learned a way to use his ki and he gets hella stronger.
It's definitely going to happen. Shioon is already forming bonds with individuals who will at some point, make up his Soldiers Under Command. Yi-Joo-Gun, I'm horrible with Korean names. Well the guy with the finger sword will definitely join up with Shioon sometime in the future and others will follow if those pictures are any indication. I'm not sure which chapter it was but the head of the Soon clan (?) [again I'm horrible with names] had pictures of martial arts successors all around Shioon's age and he was keeping a close eye on them. Eventually Shioon is going to fight all the different successors from these other clans and they'll gradually join him whether the matter is settled via combat or otherwise. The old Goomooryong will face the new Goomooryong that Shioon is currently evolving into. Murim is changing and there is going to have to be a new leader to spearhead that change. Shioon.
It's inevitable. It won't happen anytime in the near future though. Even if he had his ki center fixed right now, and turns out to be some kind of freak of a genius(which there have been hints at), it will take him at least a couple years to have any hope of matching his master in a fight. The differences are just too large.
Shion will become ten-art-Dragon before that time lol, though its a pity that he doesnt get to learn Heaven & Earth technique
GMR will eventually battle against Shioon. The reasoning now is becoming greater and greater toward that certainty. The BFD group (specifically the old dude that knew about the BOT) used him. I await during the fight with Shioon the truth comes out about Shiho being sniped by the BFD order. this new rivalry between Sunwoo and Chundomoon. I see a great alliance between them because Shioon beats Hyuk in battle.
they will fight of course (maybe in the part 3 of the Breaker) i think Shioon will know about the story of Unwol in the martial arts alliance and then Shioon will look for GMR and ask for answers..... and maybe GMR will fight Shioon and make it like a succession fight for the BHT ......
