Mmm how nice, I can smell another Maracanazo
Huh, what's that? xD
I think that the stadiums so far look nice, but they aren't big deals compared to the others WC stadiums we recently had ;-;
The finals of 1950 were called "Maracanazo", as Brazil lost pathetically in the finals against Uruguay (who was losing and made a comeback in the lat 20 minutes) :3
Just google it, it's there ^^ .
And Brazil has not only beautiful stadiums, but those are stadiums with some history. Besides, the country has way much to offer than just some Stadiums lol .
No, I don't wanna google it after your explanation D:
Yeah, I know... I mean, Maracanã certainly has a lot of history, but some stadiums are just brand new, like the ones São Paulo, Amazonas and Natal got. Some of them will look nice, though.
My point is! I believe that Brazil will always have more to offer than some football games, but during the WC I expect some WC feeling xD
Seems right now the only match tickets on sale are part of hospitality packages and general ticket sales will begin once the Confederations Cup is over. I'm quite worried about ticket prices and the lack of clear information regarding them.
I still think they won't be too different from the CC ticket prices, and those were around $30 till $200 xD
We still gotta plan the whole thing ;-; Like, wich places are we going to visit and stuff.
Here there are some guides to some cities I mentioned in the opening post. Just ask google chrome to translate the page and check the images xD There are guides to Salvador, Brasilia, Vitoria and Rio.
1 peso = 0,4 reais, hohoho
I'd love to plan... but I really suck at it.
Besides, I'll be able to travel around July 8 or something like that (F U college ) so I'll be... late lol
It's not to scare anyone, but take a look on the situation right now
You all will be welcome though
You'll all be welcome though
I'd totally join them if that's what you want, all I gotta do is hide my "Argentinism"
Nah, seriously, dunno what's that crap, but it'll definetly get better next year. I mean, who would go out to the streets and destroy everything when there's a WC / party /happy (ambient?) all over the country.
things like a 200M budget with private funding turns out to be a a 1B construction with government money.
And the media keeps ignoring all that and showing a fake happy environment
FIFA came here and bossed around even the universities (unis here have their own rule so they can stand up to the government).
On the peaceful protests the police answered with tear gas bombs and rubber bullets, the government of my states forbade protests in the cup month... what just pissed of people even more
The cups are actually a great time to protest since the whole world is watching.
