In fact, if Tamura decides to end Beelzebub any time soon I wouldn't mind. I really enjoy reading Beelzebub and I seriously love Furuichi, but it would be a shame for the series to need to be extended longer than necessary. As long as its not cancelled...I wouldn't mind when it ended.
While the TOC does play a part in how successful a manga is in Jump, it's not an ironclad rule. During its serialization Death Note had less than stellar TOC rankings and D.Gray-man, when it was still running in Jump, was constantly in the bottom TOC! Both are extremely popular franchises in their own right. I don't think Beelzebub has any chance of being cancelled in comparison. It would have to have a significant drop in sales or at least be in the bottom of the TOC for more than just a few weeks.
Also, do you follow Max Barnard's Shonen Jump podcast, FEV by any chance? He recently answered a question about Beelzebub, and I think its worth a read.

Friendly reminder that apparently Beelzebub is marketed as a Boys Love manga in Germany.
I'm guessing the bromance between Furuichi and Oga was too much for it to be a normal
Which Shop is that. That is a total shame on us, good for me i know it better. But funny anyway, maybe the owner miss understand the relationship between Furichi and Oga or which Boy Love they mean.
So i let this Pic stand at it is, but i tell you not every shop has Beelzebub under Boylove. But no wonder that you find this Teeba .
I think you're right Black Hawk, I think the owner didn't understand what Boys Love mean. Maybe they meant to put it in "Boys Comics"?
I don't know what shop its from, I found it on tumblr. But its still pretty mind boggling.
So in this context he but it in Boys Love. When i remember right, on the Backside of Beelzebub Volumen stand always something like big friendship between Furici and Oga.
But anytime i open this thread see Beelzebub between different other Boylove stories, its only funny.

i just saw on my beloved Chrome "plugin" to read mangas a top Rating...
"All Manga Reader"
Gues which Manga is in the Top 5 !!!
Wow, over 60,000 scanlation readers is impressive! That's really surprising! Although I'm skeptical for the overall rankings. There's nothing after Fairy Tail that has more than Beelzebub has?
I mean, on the other hand I've always thought Beelzebub was a really well-balanced gag manga.
It seems so.. well its only "one" Browser App for Chrome.. But its amazing how high Beelzebub is reaching here..
Love it it's a GREAT manga^^
I'm not surprised. Anyone who likes Shounen has to read this and will definitely have fun reading it. Not to mention the priceless humor it contains that spices up the experience. Glad it's doing so fine, it deserves it.
Beelzebub is really one of the few mangas I actually laugh at. The scene where everyone founds out that Himekawa's friend was a female and Oga trying to relate was hilarious. Probably my favorite scene in the manga.
Ok, so this is totally cute and I can't believe I didn't post this here!
This Japanese youtube channel make an apple snack inspired by one of Oga's many "wall-plants". Its very well done! I think they did a series on Jump series, there's a Gintama and Toriko video as well.
At first I didn't see it but now its just so painfully obvious. Poor Beel, he's too explicit for the States.
