313 Clean cover for all the colourists out there.

Well, first off, I have to say that this took a long long time to finish, and if you decide looking at it, you'll understand why.



Yes, it really is that big, and suprisingly, I have menaged to maintain the quality despite the size.

I hope someone makes actually bothers colouring it, as I'm rather excited about how it'll turn out

metris, someone had to have scanned that in 600 dpi, at least. You have the hook up in japan i see or you live near a kinokuniya or a store like it

Well, I figured colourists would be able to add a lot more detail into it. And besides, it's not exactly rocket science to resize it so it becomes smaller

I made it this big since I think it's easier to work with big pieces when you're colouring, as you can add more details more easily and eventually resize the thingy when you're done Heh, thanks a lot for your nice words

Nah, I'm actually norwegian and I live in Norway xD And besides, this really didn't require too much effort. It's just really timeconsuming, that's all :-P

Heh, yeah, at the start I did. Then it kinda got a bit messy, so I figured I'd rather use Photoshop.

Had to use a picture to get the skin colours and for the details, also on the metall.
Because for the first time I want to try more realism and also want to go abit beyond the "normal" colours, more details. So I have learned abit.
Also thanks for the size wanted see if there is a diffrent between a normal sized one and this larged one, in detail.

hah thanks for the comments >_<, yeh I wont colour him green nor blue , hm white with brown/grey shadows and some nice texture would look cool but I dunno, maybe just some dark brown colour, I will test around and see what is best

I don't know how it might look like on a normal monitor but that look damn great on my plasma ( laptop monitor , the others pictures looks crappy on it but that one looks great ).
Seems like someone pushed the level up again :-)
That makes me wanna run away and give up coloring hehe (always higher and higher levels) or just try my best to improve. Damn you've powned everything in this thread with that sample!
Take your time ,don't rush it , the important thing is to keep it great.So go Patrik , i'm waitin to see it finished.
( i hope it really looks that good on the usuals monitors :-D)

OMFG the skin looks so goddamn real o.O I cant wait until you finish it...and if you keep up with that kind quality this will be your best work so far.
