348 cover(my first attempt at coloring :D)

well after reading the new chapter i decided to try coloring for the first time.

constructive criticism and suggestions would be appreciated.i think i need to learn how to clean up the lines and such.

I would say the hair is a bit too bright, somehow reduces the feel of the his hair.

Wow not bad for the first time! Somehow the blue is still too bright for me but thats just personal taste ^^

Yes, not bad at all for a first time. I think overall it seems like a "first layer" of coloring though, and you didn't add any more layers to it.

i'm gonna try and work on the lines and look for some more tutorials to try to not make it look so flat.i can definatly see myself getting into coloring more.

Try getting some colour and shade references from other anime pics... but It's good for a first try keeping improving ^^

Pretty good for first try. I'd say, make the shading darker and add more shading in general... and don't be afraid to experiment with different colors, too. Keep practicing

karin,my new favorite female naruto character.think i did better on shading and just all aorund coloring.

hidan and kakuzu,the lines turned out alot better looking in this one.i think this is my best one so far.

you're doing pretty well, i must say! as for the 348 cover, try to stay on the same "level" when you're shading a bit more. now, some shades are waaaay darker than the base color, while some are barely noticable, know what i mean? the last two you submitted are much better, but you have missed coloring a few pixels, which makes the final result less attractive to the eye! but keep at it, you're getting there!
