Battle Adult Gon vs Meruem?

I think adult Gon would win vs Meruem. But then it poses an interesting question. If adult Gon can win vs Meruem, then Ging should win vs Meruem too. Since I dont think Gon is anymore talented then Ging.
But then Ging is stronger than Netero?

I do think adult gon could beat first version of meruem. He hasn't much experience and gon probably be his peak. If we gonna talk about second version meruem none of the beings can beat meruem. Of course i am not gonna talk about science power and other things. I am talking about raw power and regular fight.

As far as I am concerned, Pitou thought adult Gon could hurt Meruem. Everything else is pure speculation.
We know that Pitou could hurt adult Gon, while Meruem is very, very sturdy, so I think that in terms of durability, adult gon is still a normal human while meruem is a tank.
But that leads me to believe that adult gon would need assistance to really defeat meruem. But as i said, it is pure speculation.
