For 2017 she was a major female character of the series, she might not have much future in 2018 but as for 2017 till date she has become a major character of Black Clover

I was kinda thinking the same thing but looking back at her screen time in 2017 and overall impact, i think she could be comparable to Reiju VInsmoke for WCI arc of One Piece, but thats just me.
Mereoleona in 2017:

Witch Forest arc - she wasnt there
The Ceremony and Training arc - she had like two chapters worth of some wisdom and giving guidance
Royal Knight Arc (which was the main meat of 2017) - she wasnt there
White Night Eye arc - She was fighting a Third Eye general and then we cut off to 2018

so in the end she was a standout cuz of her badassness, but wasnt that major in the overall 2017. In my opinion of course. Thats why i nominated her in the other category. But if the majority will say that she is in this category, its fine by me. Ill also add her here then.

she's definitely a supporting character, according to my animelist https://myanimelist.net/manga/86337/Black_Clover/characters which is the reference here, for Mh contests, she s not even borderline/ debatable as some characters might be imo, yeah her case would be comparable to Pudding or Carrot or kinemon in One piece would anyone see them as main characters ? i highly doubt. Not even trafalgar laqw is considered as a main so.... :errr

I dont mind if shes nominated at all, im totally fine with her, but i only mentioned it for you to consider voting someone else, in case her nomination is not vald. But maybe mods will accept her as a main.
