I'm not a huge OST person, but Bebop wins here by a long margin in my opinion. It's the type of soundtrack I'd raise to a hipster music connoisseur who turns their nose up at anime.

I can see why people love the Naruto and SnK OST's, though.

It's clear that many of you didn't watch Ping Pong...

Right.

Naruto and SnK soundtracks have that "epic/bombastic factor" but really nothing super memorable to me, unlike Cowboy Bebop.

Like, the music in Cowboy Bebop wasn't just created for the show, they built a lot of the show around the music Yoko Kanno composed. As a result, every piece of music on the OST is vividly connected to a certain scene/s and have a vastly huger impact, to me.

Sawano certainly has become an industry staple and deserves credit for that. That sounds are certainly big and epic. But as my dupe account said, for me personally not that memorable, because all big actions spectacles sounds just like that.

I also dig Narutos soundscape a lot. I always love it when traditional instruments are combined with modern sounds. I really like vibing the ost while drawing and stuff. Especially in my teens, I liked to rock to it a lot.

But Cowboy Bebops OST is true art. It's just ear-gasm after ear-gasm. And it supports the scenes and the story perfectly, with seeming out of place art-sy. It's just real perfection. Easy winner here.
