Pretty cool detail. But we finally see William without his curse since Gordon is using curse workers neighbor on him and Charlotte.

Curse workers neighbor is a spell that turns curses into power (remember both William and Charlotte suffer from the effects of curse snd now they're being buffed due to Gordon). As a result we see his uncursed appearance and it looks like Licht/Patry since William looks like Licht (and is likely Licht's true vessel since, but Zagred altered Patry's reincarnation to progress his plans ect)

You know what it seems we might actually see the rest of the fight. Adramalech stated that all of the arch angels were taken out and "it may be a matter of time for the others" The other characters are engaging the Lucius clones in battle but they haven't defeated them yet.

So I wouldn't be surprised if we still pan down back to some of the other battles later.

Well, at this point I think he'll focus on the fight with Lucius.

This was a bit of a nothingburger. Tabata is speedrunning through the clone fights, which is good because proper fights against the same enemy would be repetitive, but at the same time it means most of the cast are going to amount to pretty much nothing in the finale. William and Charlotte resolving their curses is something that should have happened as the conclusion to their character arcs during big personal moments, not just as a brief tease during an otherwise off-screened fight. The person who cursed Charlotte was even foreshadowed twice as a silhouetted figure so there was clearly some sort of a story planned for that, but now all we're getting are these tiny scraps of what could have been. It's not very satisfying. I also question Tabata's decision to prioritize giving Mereoleona yet another good showing rather than using those pages for Charlotte's last hurrah or letting William at least have one solid fight to his name.

The fight against Lucius has decent choreography and he's finally doing something creative with his massive arsenal of different magics. I don't find him to be a very interesting character, quite the opposite in fact, but if the action is on-point then the final battle could still work out fine. He's obviously not dead yet so I assume he'll either turn into a monster or reveal that he's outright immortal now, except against anti-magic, conveniently enough. Tabata let Yuno have the first killing blow so that Asta can be the one to deal the second one. Hopefully Lucius develops more of a personality during round 2 to put an end to the monotonous smugness.

Lastly, I'm confused what the point of Adrammelech is. He's one of the antagonists but he doesn't seem invested in Lucius's plan or even opposed to the good guys at all. He's content to just sit and watch what happens, which begs the question of why Lucius didn't either brainwash or kill him? Is this another case of a character who had something more planned for him but then the manga went on life support and now he has no reason to be in the story anymore? I'm half expecting him to just fly away after Lucius is defeated and that's the end of his role. In the final chapter epilogue set 1000 years in the future he will be the lead singer of an emo band that Asta's distant descendant is into.

LOL Not even sure. Let's see while I was pretty high last night I do remember catching up on BC. Didn't Asta and Yuno just defeat "the real Lucius?"

Any posts I make between 10 pm and 6 am are just random high/drunk thoughts. lol

OMG I think I was talking about how quickly the series seems to be coming to a close. But then that one devil said something about something.

Bro you're right. My friend Hector has been reading it but lost interest when they did that and when I messaged him last night all trashed he was like "let me guess Asta and Yuno beat him" lol like yeah obviously that's gonna happen but don't be so lame about it.
