Made this one today, I think I sat 8-9 hours in photoshop -.- I dont usually color manga.

Is it any good ? Hope you like it anyways...

Very, though If you can fix Blackbeards sideburns, compared to the rest of the drawing it looks out of place. Then enter it in the next art contest and I think you'll do good.

but black wouldn't look good, would it?

Well... it's a fact that you can't "see" darkness... so it looks like nothing, and when you see nothing it's black... or something like that O_o

But yah, purple is a good way to represent it; although I think they'll probably go for some greyish black in the anime.
