"My interest is to further spread the popularity of Korean Pop [K-Pop]. Therefore, I decided to create this thread so that fans can talk, share, and post different things related to this band. I hope to keep this thread updated not only in their new releases of music videos, songs, and performances but also any sort of media they make an appearance in."

GROUP INFORMATION

Fandom Club Name: A.R.M.Y


BANGTAN SONYEONDAN [방탄소년단] is a South Korean Boy Band under the label of Big Hit Entertainment. The group consists of 7 members:
  1. Kim Nam-joon [RM]
  2. Kim Seok-jin [Jin]
  3. Min Yoon-gi [Suga]
  4. Jung Ho-seok [J-Hope]
  5. Park Ji-min [Jimin]
  6. Kim Tae-hyung [V]

They made their official debut on June 12th, 2013 and is still currently active today. Some of their well-known songs include Boy In Luv, I Need You, Dope, Run, Epilogue: Young Forever, Fire, Save Me, and Blood Sweat & Tears.

Rap Monster was born in Ilsan District, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on September 12th, 1994. He is a South Korean idol singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Some of his well-known music solos includes Do You, Monster, God Rap, Life, I Believe, Reflection, etc.


Name: Kim Seok-jin [김석진]
Stage Name: Jin [진]
Roles: Sub-Vocalist and Visuals

Jin was born in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on December 4th, 1992. He is a South Korean idol singer. Some of his well-known music solos includes Awake and more.


Name: Min Yoon-gi [민윤기]
Stage Name: Suga [슈가]
Roles: Lead Rapper and Sub-Vocalist

Suga was born in Buk Disctrict, Daegu, South Korea on March 9th, 1993. He is a South Korean idol singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Some of his well-known music solos includes Agust D, Give It to Me, First Love, etc.


Name: Jung Ho-seok [정호석]
Stage Name: J-Hope [제이홉]
Roles: Lead Rapper and Main Dancer

J-Hope was born in Gwangju, South Korea on Februrary 18th, 1994. He is a South Korean idol singer. Some of his well-known music solos includes Hug Me, Mama, etc.


Name: Park Ji-min [박지민]
Stage Name: Jimin [지민]
Roles: Lead Vocalist and Lead Dancer

Jimin was born in Busan, South Korea on October 13th, 1995. He is a South Korean idol singer. Some of his well-known music solos includes Lie and more.


Name: Kim Tae-hyung [김태형]
Stage Name: V [뷔]
Roles: Sub-Vocalist and Sub-Dancer

V was born in Daegu, South Korea on December 30th, 1995. He is a South Korean idol singer and actor. Some of his well-known music solos includes Stigma, Hug Me, etc.


Name: Jeon Jeong-guk [전정국]
Stage Name: Jungkook [정국]
Roles: Sub-Rapper, Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, and Maknae

Jungkook was born in Busan, South Korea on September 1st, 1997. He is a South Korean idol singer. Some of his well-known music solos includes Working, Begin, etc.

Yeah, that was a really great achievement. It really broke the cultural barrier between American Pop Music and K-Pop. Not to mention, it was in the news for days...

By the way, what are your Top 5 songs from BTS? Just curious. And if you have ties, that is okay because I know how difficult it can be to choose. Haha.

Great group and has became one of my favourite. Their new comeback song is awesome, prior to the release of the song I've read interviews say that they want it show something different and their MV shows it that. It's a captiviating song.
You can watch their Comeback Show with eng subs on viki.com. even if you haven't viki pass(its a subcription plan) but it has a lot of ads.

Ohh! I love Bangtan. V literally looks like all my fave shoujo heros. Glad there is a thread on a manga forum. :D

Firstly:

Is it wrong if guys wear make-up? Do we need to conform to gender norms all the time? Let's try not to judge.

Secondly:

In case you didn't know most pop artists in the western world wear makeup too, it's just more subtle.

Thirdly:

They aren't a gay band, they are all straight and are the most succesful kpop boy band currently earning millions of dollars. But you know what, even if they were a gay band it would be OKAY because there is nothing wrong with being gay :).

Honestly, this wasn't my favorite song of the album. But the remix is better than the original, in my opinion. Haha.

From this album or from any of their past albums? My favorite from the most recent one is definitely "Pied Piper".


I also recommend a track from Suga's solo album titled "So Far Away".


What songs from BTS have you listened to and liked? Maybe I can pick those that are similar if these aren't your type of songs. Haha.

Yeah, I really liked their performances. Stage-wise, I thought "Wings: Outro" was the best because of the air balloons. But the rest were great as well like Spring Day, Blood Sweat & Tears, etc.

I was so happy they sang So far away, Road and Born Singer!!! I never thought they would sing Born Singer again ... the feels ;-; Also can we just talk about how heartbreaking it was to watch Kook cry!

You think the next comeback will be in Jan? They dropped a hint *Epiphany* so there are theories that maybe 6th Jan but that could mean anything :/
