If Mirajane wasn't limited and pressured by the time bomb azuma planted on lissana and if mirajane was at full power could she have defeated azuma?

This is Tenrou Mira, obviously because current mira can prolly solo grimoire heart

If not, how can Halphas fair against him?

If Mira wasn't pressured by time bomb,I think it would be tie at best. Mira explained that she doesn't have much MP at that moment.

If that Mira was at full power at that time, she can win over Azuma. She has the speed and attack power to match with Azuma's attacks. However,Azuma shouldn't use the attack he used on Erza using the power of Tenrou tree because even Erza herself was defeated by that. Erza was only able to survive that because of POF which Mira doesn't have that much showings.

Halphas can definitely win since it's much more powerful than BSS.

Yeah, they were tied at mira being low on power.

If they match would’ve continued I would think Mira would get the edge with her arsenal.

Halphas would low diff. Halphas speed & damage>>>BSS speed and damage

Mirajane considered using all of her power into one attack, and then decided against it because she realized she didn't have enough power left to defeat him.

As for Mirajane being low on magical power. That was due to her having fought Elfman and Evergreen. Even being extremely generous to Elfman and Evergreen, Azuma fought Mirajane and Erza back to back. He beat Mirajane and gave Erza a high diff.

Mira easily wins. She was beating him harder than Erza before he pulled out the Tenrou's power and shot himself in the foot. She had to be nerfed in order for him to match her in her weakened state. There wouldn't be a reason to nerf someone unless you intentionally wanted them to lose.

Also Satan Soul takes a lot of MP to use. It had nothing to do with fighting Elfman and Evergreen lmao.

The Tenrou Tree offered Mirajane even more buffs than it did Erza. The tree offered 2 buffs to anyone who had the mark. The first effect was that it offers divine protection against death, and the second effect is that it boosts their magic power. Azuma thought that by controlling the tree, he stripped both these protections from Erza. He was mistaken. He only stripped it's ability to boost Erza's MP, but the divine protection was unaffected. To be perfectly clear, Erza didn't turn the tree's power against Azuma or anything. The divine protection the tree offered simply prevented Erza from dying, and then she turned around and slash him.
And the reason we know that the tree only granted its divine protection and not it's MP boost was because Ultear had to restore the tree in order for it to grant everyone (including Erza) MP. Before that, even with it's divine protection Erza was still running on a limited amount of MP.
Mirajane wasn't nerfed. Canonically, she was buffed by the tree. Mirajane had both the divine protection and the increase to MP buffs the entire time she was on Tenrou Island, except during the brief moments when Azuma had the tree down. She simply exhausted herself using Satan Soul against Elfman and Evergreen even with these buffs. That's not a nerf. That's just her not having enough MP to use Satan Soul in multiple fights. If anything, this is an argument against her endurance. Sure, Elfman and Evergreen aren't pushovers, but Azuma went through both Mirajane and Erza with his own tank...and honestly he would have beaten both of them had Erza not tapped into massive reserves of POF. This is strictly more impressive than anything Mirajane has done in the Tenrou Arc. Honestly, this is more impressive than anything Mirajane had done all the way up to the end of Tartaros.

She literally used the island power that Azuma blasted on her for her own to beat him

No she didn't. Azuma blasted her, then Erza broke free from the blast and slashed him. They never said anything about Erza using the Tenrou Tree's magic power or getting stronger. Even if you want to argue that the POF panel of everyone sending off Erza offered a boost to her momentum, the most I'm willing to grant you is a boost equivalent to a bunch of high fives.

If you're so keen on comparing Azuma vs Mira to Azuma vs Erza, you guys should also take into consideration the place where they fought : he faced Erza on the Tenrou tree whereas he fought Mira in either a small forest or a clearing I'm not really sure. Point is, he was much more in his element versus Erza, since huge and more potent roots, branches and leaves where already there, whereas he often had to make them grow against Mira.

Moreover, for the argument that it's hard to judge Mira's performance considering she already used her magic before, well that's a point against her, because it means during Tenrou she still had not recovered her full potential and had weak stamina. I mean, she used it against Elfman and Ever, who were later trashed by Rustyrose, one of Azuma's comrade.

During Tenrou she just had not made up for the gap that was created during her years as a non fighter, and was still adjusting to fighting again, which is nothing to be ashamed of.

Considering this I'd say that even at full power, during Tenrou, Azuma would have still beaten Mira, though he may have had to retreat to the Tenrou tree to gain the advantage.

I'm not that familiar with Halpha, I just saw a clip of it trashing a BSS puppet. From this I'd say Halpha would definetely beat Azuma since Azuma's performance against BSS was clearly not as good as Halpha's (was the BSS puppet as strong as BSS Mira though ?)

In short I think:
• fresh Tenrou BSS Mira loses to Azuma
•Azuma loses to Halphas

Tenrou's power protected Erza from the attack twice and she hit him back with it's full power lol. That's the entire point of the scene with magic clearly wrapped around her while showing her guild mates in the back. Azuma already shown to stop Erza's strongest assualt with ease before that scene lol. If he had not use the Tenrou tree's power then Erza wouldn't have won. He only lost when he used Tenrou's power which protected her and supplied her with the MP to best him lol.

That is a nerf. Not having your full MP before a fight is a big nerf lol.

The Tenrou tree's power only protected people from certain death. It did not give them buffs in a fight until Tenrou and Hades lmao. She simply had exhausted her MP bcs Satan Soul is stated to consume massive amounts of magic and that since she was rusty she couldn't use it back to back. Tenrou literally buffed nothing in anyones fight but Erza and Hades and the buffs were specifically pointed out as so. Azuma fighting Mira then Erza back to back is impressive but he had rest time between the fights and his magic doesn't consume anywhere near Satan Soul's MP. Azuma was only strong enough to match a weakened Mira which is why she was nerfed in the first place when she fought him.

She had no problem keeping up with Azuma on fumes and was beating him until she saw the clock. She wasn't going to gamble her sister's life on a bet she didn't know she could win. If the clock wasn't there and Lisanna's wasn't in the fight then it would have went differently. Mira had so many factors going against her that it's clear without them she would had beaten Azuma easily lol. Had she not been nerfed and Azuma not have her sister as a hostage with only three minutes to win then she would have won. She needed to be nerfed on top of having to save her sister in 3 minutes in order for Azuma to compete. She only lost bcs she sacrificed herself to save Lisanna. She was only tagged in their fight bcs she was distracted by ticking death bomb on her sister. She only thought that she couldn't beat him bcs her sister death was flying through her head the entire battle and she wasn't going to chance her success on a 50/50 gamble when she knew she could 100% protect her by saving her from the bomb. 100% Mira >>> Mira on fumes =~ 100% Azuma.

Yes. Erza was under the tenrou tree's divine protection the entire time. As was Mirajane. As was everyone else on the Island. It's the whole reason Makarov chose to put the exam on the Island.

Erza would have won against Azuma even if Azuma hadn't used the Tenrou Tree's power. This is because the Tenrou Tree never stopped giving Erza it's divine protection. If Azuma didn't use the Tenrou Tree's power against Erza, all that would have been different is that his attacks would have been weaker. The tree would have still offered Erza its protection all the same. Erza never used the Tenrou Tree's magic power to attack. The tree simply protected her from death, and then Erza turned around and cut Azuma with her sword. Nothing else was said on the subject. And no, the panels with everyone supporting Erza isn't proof that she used the Tenrou Tree's power against Azuma. Erza can't absorb MP through her skin, and she didn't bring the explosion with her or anything.

That's not a nerf. A nerf is when you've been weakened. Mirajane wasn't weakened on Tenrou Island. Quite the opposite actually. The Tenrou Tree was buffing her the entire time. She simply lacked the endurance to use Satan Soul multiple times. Spin it however you want. The bottom line is that using Satan Soul once against Elfman and Evergreen left her with very little MP to use against Azuma. If you want to call that a nerf, then I guess Azuma was nerfed for having fought Mest and Wendy before Mirajane. And then was nerfed again when he fought Erza as well. Either way, his showings are still better.

Mirajane wasn't beating Azuma. In her own words, she said that he's too strong and that she lacked the power to beat him. The clock and Lisanna wouldn't have made any difference. Mirajane considered using all of her power, and then decided against it when she realized she didn't have enough power left to beat him.
It's not at all clear that Mirajane can beat Azuma. Let alone easily. It takes Erza going all out at the peak of her POF to edge out a win against Azuma. You think Mirajane can beat him easily? For the sake of argument, let's say I agree with you that Erza used the tenrou tree's power against Azuma. Well, that just means that was what it took to beat Azuma. You think Mirajane could have recreated this if she simply hadn't fought Elfman and Evergreen? Come on now. GMG Mirajane can maybe edge out a victory using Sitri, assuming that the hype of Sitri being as strong as Armadura is real and Mirajane can tap into peak Erza-levels of POF.

Erza's strongest attack got stopped before she was hit with Tenrou's power and then after she had enough power to beat him. The entire visual scene was showing she was using the guilds power in the final attack.
She was protected by the MP (which she technically stated herself) and used it in her final attack lol.

Mira was weakened since she didn't have full magical power. That is a nerf. The Tenrou Tree didn't buff her or she would have gotten her MP back right away like Team Natsu against Hades. The tree only started giving boost after the Erza debacle and they were mentioned in the story or shown. All they got before was the divine protection which protected them from death. They weren't boosted MP wise otherwise Mira wouldn't have been stated to be nerfed and they would have noted their increase in MP. If no one realized they were stronger on the island than off the island then they weren't boosted. Azuma wasn't stated to have been weakened therefore those fights didn't effect his battle prowess lol. When someone is clearly stated to be nerfed then they are and if they aren't then clearly they aren't lol. Just her using the soul once taxed her to a fraction of her powers and she was running on empty bcs of it. She then fought Azuma evenly while on fumes and only lost bcs she wanted to save her sister. Without all these factors she would have bested him.

She said that to her sister bcs she wasn't going to tell her it was her fault she lost lmao. She already stated to herself she had a chance to win him in a 50/50. This was also in a limited mount of time she had to do this. Those factors contributed in her going for a 100% chance success of saving her sister than 50% success rate.

100% Mira is stronger than Azuma as shown when her on empty was able to fight him on even terms. She also has better than any of his feats since y'know she matching the guy with said feats in a nerfed state lol. It makes zero sense to imply she wasn't nerfed when the author goes out of his way to say she was nerfed.

Erza never even swung her sword. She was stopped before she made a swing. For the sake of argument, let's say I agree that Erza turned the power of the Tenrou Tree on Azuma in order to beat him. What feats does Mirajane have that suggests she can replicate an attack of this scale.

The Tenrou Tree was boosting everyone's magic power. That's simply a fact, unless Mashima was simply trying to confuse us when he gave the pages explaining what the tree did. Which I highly doubt. The tree functions as it was explained. Mirajane still being low on MP doesn't mean the boost wasn't there. It just means that even with a boost, she still could not recover fast enough.

Obviously Azuma wasn't nerfed after his fight against Mest or Wendy, or even after his fight against Mirajane. He wasn't weakened after those fights because those opponents couldn't do much against him, and didn't require him to use very much MP. This makes it all the more silly when you claim Mirajane was nerfed after her fight with Elfman and Evergreen as an argument for why she can beat Azuma. Mirajane wasn't nerfed. She simply did not have the endurance to use Satan Soul multiple times. How is this possibly an argument for Mirajane?

Mirajane didn't think she had a 50/50 chance of beating Azuma. I dunno how you could have possibly interpreted that from those pages. If I thought to myself "Brock Lesnar is too strong...Maybe if I put all my effort into it..." and then apologized to my coach and said "I hate to say it, but I don't have the strength to beat him" does that mean I have a 50/50 chance of beating Brock?

i dont think erza got divine protection either. but since it was tenrou power, that power couldnt kill her (maybe something like divine protection) but no divine protection from azuma own power.

i think azuma would win high diff against mira (if stamina is not an issue)
azuma beating erza was also had to do with battle field. tree arc magic user fighting in a giant tree.
