What's Catalan? The language of cats?

xD It's another language from Spain! Here we have Spanish (also known as Castilian), Catalan, Basque (/Euskera) and the now pretty much extinct Aragonese Fable.

There are also Valencian, "Mallorquí" y "Menorquín", which are extremely similar to Catalan but are recognized as different languages rather than dialects.



Spanish/Castilian is the official language but there are many smaller nationalist identities, some of them with stronger patriotic feelings than others, that have endured from back when before "Spain" was unified as a single ocuntry and we had different kingdoms, counties and ducats.

Basques and Catalans are particularly patriotic and have looked to break apart from Spain as their own countries. The Basques tried doing through terrorism back when I was a kid, and Catalans have been noisy about it in more recent years. Spain has been very divided about if we should allow them to leave or not, and honestly I wouldn't care much other than it would be a shame because Barcelona is part of Catalonia, but I don't like their tactics. They're not employing terrorism, which is good, but I hate that they've tried some other underhanded tactics to strenghten the Catalan patriotic spirit, like changing school history books to claim that they were their own kingdom in the past (they weren't) and other similar things.

His local state language shld be Marathi. But he might or might know tht language considering he lives in mumbai.

it's worth trying and exploring! in here arab cuisine is underexplored would like to try. tried kebab and maryam bread mostly and they are my favorite there's arabic district in the northern part of my city but it's so far so we rarely go there. there are arab cuisine restaurants lately, I think they are becoming famous will definitely try c:

So shawarma is basically beef, lamb, or chicken wrapped in a pita with a mixed variety of vegetables. What makes it better is the spices and the way the prepare the meat. Here's a pic:
