wow, alot of the stuff on deviant art sucks, imo. (the only reason i criticize so harshly is because i have a little art history and a few art classes behind me and can see where some of the more basic knowledge is lacking in most of their artwork) Anyway, you have a firm grasp on all of the things i dont see in most fan art so much so that you made your own fan art (which captures naruto's style marvelously (sp?)) manga. Cheers man because you have some skills

call me a hypocrite if you must but i dont draw anymore. I am too much of a perfectionist and i didnt have enough patience to learn the skills it took to elevate my artwork to a stage when i could compare myself to a professional manga artist, for example, and say, "damn, im good now".

Interesting you should say that. I'm a bit like that and know others in the same 'leaky' boat. I think that's why I admire the likes of Metalanime, who, even when he's having an off day and might not adhere to his own high standards, does it anyway - even if he's not happy with it. Man, that's real discipline and I reckon that's what separates the ordinary from the great. Only wish I had a bit more of that kind of dedication! Incidently, DD doesn't seem to have 'off days'!!
