I'd like to introduce you all to Chocolat Cosmos, the newest manga by Haruta Nana (author of Christmas ni tenshi/Ouji sama no tamago/Love Berrish/ Itoshii no goshujin sama/Samurai Darling, ect)
The first chapter was published in last month (Sept 2007 edition on sale Aug 3) of Ribbon monthly magazine. It's a cute high school student ⇔ teacher manga.
Summary: ☆Chocolat Cosmos☆
Sakurai Sayuki was born with sharp eyes that make her look like she's always angry, even though she's not. Because of her looks, students around her misunderstand her as a bully and scary girl when in fact she's "a romantic". After 15 years without a boyfriend, she started off her highschool year with hopes of love.....it's already July, tomorrow begins the summer holiday but still no sign of romance for Sayuki. During the summer holiday Sayuki and her friends decide to go to the sea (beach) in search of a summer romance. But nothing goes well at all for Sayuki since she's not looking for a "nanpa otoko "(flirt) but a romance just like a "shoujo manga". Even though, she still ends up on a walk with a "nanpa otoko" after her friends also got picked up and they all decided to go their own ways. But there on the beach Sayuki meet a very handsome young man, who treats her to a chocolat banana after dropping his banner on her head. It's love at first sight for Sayuki, and as they play on the beach Sayuki realises "I think I 've seen him somewhere...could it be your from the same high school!?" He never tells her his name and so she decides: "I'll find you at school and make you tell me your name!" The handsome young man replies that he's looking forward and dissapears from Sayuki's sight leaving only a light smell of chocolat.
August, a new semester begins and the handsome young man is nowhere to be found! Which grade could he be?? Well, to Sayuki's shocking surprise: He's the 1st year Home economics teacher!!. And so begins Sakurai Sayuki's High school life after falling in love with her teacher during the summer holiday.
