the thing I dislike the most about captain tsubasa is how the defenders always suck. If you notice, the players always dribble through all the defenders until tsubasa, who is a midfielder comes back and stops him. If you take Jito and Soda for an example. Even though they lost, they were able to partially mark tsubasa in the middle school matches but in the international tournament they are always blown away by the opponent's ace's dribbles. You can count on your fingers the times when they took the ball from someone. Even matsuyama who was considered a great player in the middle school matches is always defeated.
