Being 22 years old allows me to play whatever I want... always that the game it's legal and doesn't harm anybody. I don't have to ask for my parents permision.

My parents never really cared what I did, as long as I wasn't eating lead paint chips or opening fire on the neighbors. So, I got to play Goldeneye, GTA and all those other fun and violent games without worries.

Well since alot of people on this forum no longer live with their parents I dont thinkg that is a problem.

But i still live with them and they allow me to play games, they just get mad when i play them too much. They dont stop me they just tell me that i should not play for so long.

yeah thats what happen to me too,... but usually they scold me if i am playing way to much,..

considering I'm 18 and living away from home, my parents don't really have a say in me playing games, ne? But yeah, before I went to college they usually had no problems with me playing games, as long as all of my work was done ^^

Right now I'm too busy to play though :/

My parents did let me get the Nintendo when I was ten years old - they considered not letting me play video games, but when they saw that I never really got out much or had any friends (I was a deaf student going to a public school at the time), they took pity upon me and let me have a system.

But to be honest, I never really got into video gaming THAT much. I'll play and finish games, but I don't buy games every month and I would go a year without even playing a video game. I was always a pretty good student. So I assume my parents never regretted it ^^

I'd say they will when i finish my exams at the end of this year, then it's Uni life, so i'd say they'd become more lenient. However in the past, they've only let me play after i've completed my homework.. so in that sense, yes and no xD

-.- hm let me see..... they bought me a game boy at my 10th birthday..... they kept buying me gaming consoles till... now a month ago my mother bought me a PS3 >_> i am pretty ashamed to say the reason since i am 20 years old and able to buy it myself but it's a gift pretty much appreciated
yeah they do let me play games
(as for online video games such as World of Warcraft i have to say that as long as i pay everything they say nothing more than a simple "don't overdo it" )
