As advertised in the previous rate, we are back with the closing act(we think) for the rates that have been going on for some time now in the FT section following the series’ end. From power levels, to fights, to even shipping, we’ve decided to close things off with what Hiro forgot to use in the last arc …magic! A defining characteristic of many characters in the series, and something that has always been a strong point of the series in terms of creativity and excitement.

Of course no list is perfect, and we realize that unfortunately not every magic made it onto the final list. Unfortunate, but that's how it goes. If we forgot to add a user to the magic type then feel free to take them into account when doing your scoring.


What You Have To Do:
-Rate all 42 magic types on this list on a scale of 1-11. With one 12 given to the magic you see as the best of the bunch. Half marks such as 3.5, 8.5, etc. are allowed. NO 11.5's are allowed though. So 1-11, with only one 12.
-All scores should be sent to @Gryffindor
-The rate is based on the magic type, and not the spells. Naturally, the write ups will include the best spells of said magic type, but take into account the magic as a whole and not just specific spells.
-You are free to leave your comments, and they will be included in the reveals.

Dragon Slaying Magic:
Because there are so many users of DS magic, we will include them all in the write up. But we will make a poll where you guys vote for the best of the bunch, the top 3 will get an extended look in the write up. Poll will be open during the voting period.

Remember that this is all for fun and it's not a competition to see if your favorite character has better magic than a character you hate or anything of that sort. The magic diversity in FT is pretty solid so tastes will more than likely vary.

With Fire you can burn and melt literally anything.Infancy you can burn mangics itself.

2)Thunder
Thunder DS Magic is quite flashy and allows you to move at high speed.Normally Thunder users are quite strong also.

And with all other magic. Erza can slice Space and Dimensions with iron sword

I voted for Iron for the best DF, and Poison for... the same reason but without DF, just base mode

Regarding the poll. Unfortunately, i might have a problem later with ranking stuff and giving votes without being biased about characters. For instance, Hybrid Theory would be a solid choice here, but God Serena was too much of a letdown for me to vote for that.
Anyway, hard choice but ultimately, i'll chose Iron and Shadow. It was a close call between Lightning and Iron though.
Shadow is just amazing imo, being able to enter shadows and stuff.
Lightning is usually an insane power. The ability to turn into lightning and move at lightspeed...

1. Cheaty and trashy magic - bad
2. Base (bad) or uniq magic (good)
3. Interesting for me (like snow magic, i like it in Inber's hands)
4. Realisation (Wind in Erigor's hands - good, Wendy's - bad)

I totally did which one would be the most useful for me Overall, I think most people will pick the same types and the ranking should be uniform.
