I'm casting my vote for Erza as she is one of my favourite characters.

I've always thought of her as a "big sister" to the guild and everyone (particularly Natsu and Gray ) listens to her. But of course her "fierce" nature also plays a part. This has created a lot comedy among the guild members.

On the serious side, I feel that the Master trusts her with the guild matters whenever he has to be away. I do think that she has the leadership quality.
