First Coloring

Decided to color a random old cover that I haven't seen anyone do yet, haha. Some stuff still looks weird. If you have any tips, they'd be appreciated.

It's an excellent start I say. Try giving Ichigo's shinigami robe a bit of shade too. Hope to see more of your work in the future

for shading, draw yourself a sun on a different layer with nice straight rays..
then, imagine that the image is 3d and think about where there'd be shadows and where there'd be highlights. Use real world references when necessary (i.e. go stand in front of a mirror with a flashlight.. )

Heh, I wanted to try to shade his robes a bit, but I had no idea where anything would go. Especially since his arms aren't drawn at all on this cover. Thanks abu, that sounds like a good idea to try out.

Yup, what others said, you need shadowing, and it'll stand out more ^^
