I watched the anime and it was very good.then I decided to read manga too but I just didnt like the artstyle of manga.the faces of the people are too long and a bit strange.it didnt give me the feeling anime gave.

umm I heard the manga and anime endings were different.I wonder how was the ending in manga.

I like both actually... the manga and the anime...

@siegfried: the anime ending isn't all that diffrent from the manga... if you take it from the point that it just cuts of the further storyline and therefore leaves only some little changes...

recently the raws for elfenlied 1-12 got posted on TT as a batchtorrent.... if somebody wanted to know :P

I'm agree with siegfried, the artwork is very weird... and I didn't like it at all.
But, I want to read the additional story that the anime cut out.

Anyway, choosing the best, I'll go with the anime

The artwork gets better by the end of the manga.

The manga is alot more interesting (From what I've seen) than the anime.

i've just started downloading manga and anime together.
it's true that the manga is better than the anime but unfortunately i can't be objective about this
i must say that i find it quite..... ineresting

I like the manga better than the anime. The anime ended halfway through the story.

Also, chapter 60, 61, 62, and 63 scalations are out.

i don't know if the post-anime arcs began already,
but you should read from the beginning all over...
the manga contains more details and the end of the anime was altered quite a bit

Is there anywlternative to IRC? I have never used it and I do not have an irc client installed. If there is no othe way maybe I will take the time to learn how to use IRC.

take the time,
even if you could load it of mangadownload.net ....
it's easier for you to get archives of mangas than by searching the rest of the net for DDL's...

All latest chapters are available on http://www.stoptazmo.com/elfen_lied/ with the exception of chapter 61. Dose anyone know were to download chapter 61 so we can archive it?

Yay! I have finnaly cought up wit the Manga yesterday! Read until chapter 64, when and where should I be looking for the next chapter? What i am trying to ask is whether the 65 will be posted in this forum or if i will have to hunt it down from the various sitees out there?

On a side note I was rather surprised at how closely the manga resembles the Anime even untill the last chapter. Did the guys making the anime already know what was going to happen? anyway can't wait for the next chapter.

the manga was already near to finished when the anime was aired. i believe it was at vol. 10 at that time.
the series is finished already, only Edited Mangas are still ongoing.

so they knew what was going on ^^
