May I see the raw that you used as well? [br]Posted on: December 28, 2006, 10:13:23 PM_________________________________________________
Ok thanks for the raw. I think you have made an MQ clean of this page. A few things to note pages look better with less .jpg artifacts if they are in .png format instead of .jpg. Also you should grayscale your images before doing things like levels. The image is still in RGB.
Panel 1: THe top set of charactors are faded and should be redrawn. The middle set of charactors are either over leveled or more care should be taken in redrawing them.
Panel 2: The top right corner of the border is dirty. The lines on the ceiling are faded and could use some redrawing I would use the line tool for that with anti-alias. The dark shadow on the door frame should be filled in with black.
Panel 3: The blacks are not filled in fully. Make sure and go in with a small brush size between 1 and 4 px depending on the size of the area you are covering and leave no whiteish dots behind. There were white lines on the guys mouth those should still be there but are not.
Panel 4: I think you might have overfilled the shadow around the guys bulging eyeball. From the raw it appears that part is a thick black outline and the rest are little black lines. I also would have worked some with the brush and line tool to clean up the books on the bookcase.
Here is an image for clearification of some of my points.
I hope this helpes
