This is the newest series by the author of Hot Gimmick, Aihara Miki. This series started some time around January in the monthly magazine Cheese!. Volume 1 of Honey Hunt came out June 26th 2007.
-very short sumary not to spoil the fun for anyone planning to read this series.-
The heroine is highschooler Yura, who's mother is one of Japan's most famous and beautiful actress' and father is a World famous Musician. Yura is quiet, and easy to get nervous in front of crowds. People around often compare her to her famous parents. Yura's world gets rocked with the sudden return of her actress mother, coldly announcing her divorce to Yura's father, who got caught having an affair and Yura's mom has no intention of taking care of their high school daughter. But this just isn't enough, Yura later on finds her mother having sex with her neighbor/best friend/ first love!! Yura then wants to destroy her mother's beautiful actress image and decides to become an actress herself and beat her mother. There starts the fun! Yura's troubles and success' in trying to become an actress, her meeting lots of beautiful actors and signers and idols. A love triangle is in the air ☆
So, anyways,I buy the Cheese! magazine, so have the raw manga BUT I CANNOT put raw scans on the net. I would like to know if there are non-english scans available on the net? if so, is anyone translationg this series? If not, is anyone interesting in me translating/summarizing Honey Hunt like I do with Gakuen Alice?
If anyone who has non-englsih scans of this manga and is interesting in sharing with others, I'd be glad to help out by furnishing monthly translation/summaries.
N.B. I do not intend to work with specific Edited Manga groups, all my transltaions/summaries are free for all fans to use as long as permission is asked and credited if needed.
