Well in Serbian it would be:
Thank you="Hvala"
You're Welcome="Nema na čemu"

Re: How to say "Thank You" and "You're Welcome" in your language

In Dutch it's:

"Thank you" -> "Dankjewel" or "Dank u" (= more formal than "Dankjewel", though much used). ^^

And "You're welcome" -> "Graag gedaan"

If you want to know any other Dutch words, just ask! :D
welll "dank u" is only used often in belgium (seeing as belgians are more influenced by the french, where formal greetings are more important, like using s'il vous plait instead of s'il te plat). The dutch use dankje more often.

id like to add something to the swedish "youre welcome".

Varsågod is the very formal way of saying it, regular talk is more: Det är lugnt

Well that 's true! Guess there will always be a difference between Dutch speaking Belgians and real Dutchmen... ^^ XDD

There is already a translation on my Filipino language of "Thank You" and "You're Welcome" on the first post, so I wouldn't repeat...the translation is right!

Re: How to say "Thank You" and "You're Welcome" in your language

well in arabic
thank you very much : Shukran jazeelan but i prefere to write shokran than shukran
since it has been already written the new thing is "jazeelan" which means alot, aton, very much.

Re: How to say "Thank You" and "You're Welcome" in your language

more in arabic

when people do something good to you, you also can say (another alternative for syukran jazeelan)

jazakallahukhairan kaseera (this is for man)
jazakillahukhairan kaseera (this is for women)
jazakumullahukhairan kaseera (this is for a group of people)

which means.. may Lord grant thee good.

[mod=Blue]Thanks, ruby_06 and amar_kun, but i think we'll stick to "shrukan" for the list, since it says "thank you" anyway. But still, thanks for the information ^^[/mod]

Re: How to say "Thank You" and "You're Welcome" in your language

In Cebuano:

Many Thanks - Daghang Salamat

In Tagalog (for comparison):

Many Thanks - Maraming Salamat Po

Unlike Tagalog, we don't use po, a word used to show respect. We show respect through the tone of the voice.

[ichi]Added. You forgot to mention how to say "You're Welcome" in Cebuano.[/ichi]:D
