I'm trying to translate the following line:

    やはり肉と着替えは生に限るなぁ

And I can't seem to make any sense of it.
    Literally it seems like its:
"As I thought, meat and a change of clothes are confined to life."

    Any ideas?

    生(なま-nama)
    生-肉:rare meat,fresh meat
生-着替え:live (performance) of changing clothes (perhaps he is peeping)

~に限る: nothing is better than ~

That line is a pun, these 生 are phonetically same but different meaning in Japanese.
    It's too difficult to translate...

Eating rare meat and peeping a live performance of cloth-changing are the best ways to taste flesh,as I thought.
