I know we don't have mangastream translation yet but Bach's line about not feeling Ichibei's reiatsu was way too familiar to Aizen not feeling transcendent Ichigo's and brought me to this idea.
My prediction is that the Soul King has no battle proves whatsoever because he made Ichibei out of all these. Soul King is still governing but he is his own bodyguard through Ichibei. He would also be the first Shinigami if Ichibei is the first and thus resemble how the Soul King started it.
He knows the name of all things and governs all shadows which is pretty op and godlike. If the SK is something seperate and once again even stronger than why would he need royal guards?
Also ichi means 1 in japanese so that could be a hint too.
So what do you guys think?
