Feedback Ignore boards hack!

Ever feel like there is a forum you just absolutely don't want to see, no matter what the circumstances? Well if it's really on your death wish you can get rid of it nice and easy . (see attached image to see exactly where )

Just remember once you ignore a board, that board will be inaccessible to you until you allow it again. So think long and hard before ignoring it

Hold on, if i turn off those boards, will i never have to see anything about them on the site? For example, if i see a million naruto topics now on the front page, will they disappear if i turn off the board?

Nah, they still show up in the most recent post threads and things at the bottom of the page and on the front page. This just makes it so you don't have to see them in the forum list.

One thing that would be nice is the ability to turn off a whole category, as I can still see the "Naruto" etc categories, even if I can't see the forums.

I guess it doesnt really matter then. If one could turn off the whole board and all things related to it on the site then i would be happy. I like things around here but Naruto and its popularity have become a bit much for me.

You could just click this thing and have the forum totally closed (you'll still see naruto) but for the most part it'd be hidden (aside from the front page area) (click the minus sign)

its mostly the front page that does it for me. Don't worry about it. I am probably the only one...

hmmm the front page doesn't show the posts / threads of the boards that you ignore. I just tried ignoring the news thread and the tsubasa thread(only because it has a recent new thread) and it doesn't show them in the recent posts / recent threads areas of the front page...

I think it would be really nice to have a Favorites link on the Main Menu where everyone would add links he visits often.

For example D.Gray-Man or 666 Satan or The Greek Hangout Thread etc..
You have to follow 3 or more links to get there and it's quite annoying if u do this often.

ps. Perhaps there is a way to do this already ... but i don't know how to ...

Well there is a "book marks" hack that I was thinking about implementing.... but then again I thought people could just create a folder for that in their own web browsers, and just save the boards that they like in there.... I'll read up more about it and think about adding that later

Not a bad suggestion at all. I can see that being useful (not only for the members, but the mods as well.)
