Is Kisame unaffected by the Sharingan?

Seeing how Itachi and Kisame work so well, I wonder if Kisame is unaffected by the Sharingan? I don't know if this has been discussed b4 so if it has please move it and inform me of the location.

I see that Kisame doesn't have the traditional eyes like most characters. He looks like he has some wrinkles around his eyes i don't know if its significant in any way...
