I have been wondering, how many chapters of juushin enbu have come'd out? I know there's 3 chapters that has been scan'd but come on, there has to be some other chapters or has arakawa put ahold of it so she can finish fma?

Jūshin Enbu (獣神演武, 2006-present) is a manga currently serialized in Gangan Powered. The original story is by Huang Jin Zhou (A unit comprised of Hiromu Arakawa, Genco and Studio Flag) and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa, author of the manga Fullmetal Alchemist. The motif of the story are chinese wuxia drama and novels. The world view is rooted in Chinese folklore and history, as well as having an element of fantasy.

Plot

It is the time of wars.

In the chaotic Empire, a group of seven heroes of the stars, the Hokushin-Tenkun, rose to lead the common folk. Out of the seven a destiny of heated battle unfolds between the "Two Noble Spirits", Hagun and Tonrou. Originally the two should not exist in the same time but the gears of Fate have turned otherwise.

In the current feeble state of the Ken Empire, the conflicting "Two Noble Spirits" - Taitou Shirei of Hagun and Keirou of Tonrou each fight for their view of justice and the peace of the countires and their home country.

In the name of Fate, the justice of whom shall prevail....?

Thanks marvacw and ulgen. I have already read the 3 chapters and watch'd some episodes but the anime wasn't as great as the manga but both of them hase a great potential especiely the manga

There are no more than 3 chapters scanlated so far, maybe the group doing it will release the next 3 once the Volume raw is out (not the magazine chapters).

By the way, the 8th chapter raw is out!

They are both equally good but different. Arakawa doesn't write Jushin Enbu like she does FMA - she only does the art from what I've read.

Whoever wrote this must be had reading many chinese literature, including wuxia stories....

The plot is borrowing elements from "Deer Prince", as far as I know....

Old topic but the chapter 19 is out and I'm going crazy about it.

Months ago, there was a news who said that the manga would be in five books only. And so the chapter of this month was going to be the last but after reading it... well the story isn't finished yet and at the end, there is only a "To be continued".

There is a page at the end of the raw but I don't know what it means. Could someone tell me please ? I think that maybe she's taking a break to finish Fulmetal Alchemist but I can be wrong (and I think I'm wrong). Or maybe it's only an ad.

EDIT 02/26: I've found my answer. If someone is interested, it means that Juushin Enbu is taking a break for a certain time and that it's return will be annonced in the GanGan. Wait and see ^_^
