Summary:
We lack an real summary for now (all we have to go on is this first chapter, so we need to wait on our translator to provide us with one). So instead, for now, I'll use my rant for the credits page.

Once in a while there comes this kind of series. You don't know exactly what it is about, but it looks and feels so damn cool, you can't help but fall in love with it. That's kind of how I feel about Jackals. This manga is like that mysterious dark-haired stranger in a shady bar, that I know I shouldn't go near to, but the attraction is too strong, even though I know I'll probably wake up in the morning with a hangover, naked and with no money.

Enjoy this series about hot assasins with cool looking weapons.

Looks sick, I'm giving it a download now. Is it a manwha or manga? The artist's name sounds Korean.

It's a manga (written by a Japanese, has manga format right to left, published in a Japanese magazine). The artist is Korean though and he's done manwha in his lifetime (mainly Chunchu, 15 volumes of awesomeness, which is another project of ours).

hmm..... a tad bit gory

I've seen worse. Koreans have nothing on Japanese where gore is concerned.

Well, this seems pretty cool, but kinda like Zombie Powder (funky weapon, killing, etc.), but more mature. I think it was okay.

No, they didn't drop Chunchu.

Tried Jackal and liked the art a lot, but that was about it for now. Wasn't that much story in the first chapter. Looking forward to seeing more.

We haven't released anything yet. After the holidays, we'll start and release till the end. We're still looking for good raws (Japanese or Korean or Chinese, doesn't matter), ours are kinda crappy. So if anyone can help with that, it would be great.

That's exactly what I thought, heh. Hence my comments about it. But this is exactly how Chunchu started, and then two chapters later we got hit with the plot.

Characters are an almost total ripoff from Chunchu, but I dont mind, great first chapter can hope the series continu that way.

If you mean the character design, then I think that's unavoidable (the resemblance that is), seeing that it's the same artist. As for the actual characters, I think it's too early to tell. Doesn't seem so to me though. Nicholi appears much more balanced than Chunchu, and more less likely to wallow in self-pity.

I was thinking the same thing. That guy's (I think his name is Nicholi) weapon is strange yet awsome.
