What makes you think that?it seems it'll be a while until the main cast meets him
While i understand where you come from, i find this as a way to set this guy as one the bigger deals in the CG, to me, it feels better to put it in here rather than in the middle of a fight cutting the flow or doing the trope of showing it at the last moments before is defeated and not mattering anymore afterwards. I think it works because it shows what kind of perturbed people are taking part of this CG, and help to theorize what kind of interactions/conflicts this character can potentially have with the main cast or other characters, based on his background, mindset and what overall we know of him.I find this flashback kind of... Out of nowhere? We've literally just been introduced to this guy, it seems it'll be a while until the main cast meets him, so what's the point of showing us the guy's backstory right now? Making sure you don't forget to do it? Breaking with the trope of death by flashback?
Meh/10 spoilers. Can we actually proceed to the actual culling games' main story? I heard we cared about some Hana lady calling herself an angel, Yuta had gone to investigate something, and there was some red head who might or might not be dead
It'd be pretty weird to cut from Yuuji meets Hakari straight into Yuuji has tracked the lawyer and is about to fight him without showing us anything of the other characters that were highlighted as CG PARTICIPANTS!! Back in the day in twitter's promotion. The lawyer without flashback sounded like a civilian-gone-sorcerer-and-crazy minor arc antagonist. After this flashback background, I think he'll be just that, abd if it turns out to be minor... Why bother giving him this long flashback? A chapter is what we got for Yaga's background and death, for contrastWhat makes you think that?
I think this flashback implies that he was already psychopathic enough before the CG, and with the CG he received a powerup, so he started killing civilians left and right (starting by everyone in that court that were part of the Justice System show). He seems to have a cursed spirit or shikigami bound to him that is a misrepresentation of Justice's symbol (the blind lady with the scales), so he's basically handling a curse out of all the feelings of injustice, which I guess could be big news... But he's basically killed off nothing but fodders, so I don't really see him as much of a big deal for the main castWhile i understand where you come from, i find this as a way to set this guy as one the bigger deals in the CG, to me, it feels better to put it in here rather than in the middle of a fight cutting the flow or doing the trope of showing it at the last moments before is defeated and not mattering anymore afterwards. I don't think it will be a minor character. After all, in the last chapter he had been indicated as one of the participants with the most points along with what appears to be an acquaintance of Sukuna....It'd be pretty weird to cut from Yuuji meets Hakari straight into Yuuji has tracked the lawyer and is about to fight him without showing us anything of the other characters that were highlighted as CG PARTICIPANTS!! Time to time, it was practically introduced by two chaptersagree with you that we will probably have many points of view in thid arc. I just don't find this guy particularly interesting
I am surprised that the flashback takes up the whole chapter (with no lead-in at all), but it just tells me that Gege likes his character that much/sees enough potential in it.It'd be pretty weird to cut from Yuuji meets Hakari straight into Yuuji has tracked the lawyer and is about to fight him without showing us anything of the other characters that were highlighted as CG PARTICIPANTS!!
