We get to see Amai's Past, and Remi takes Megumi to see the guy that appeared at the end of the previous chapter.

Yuji is able to meet Higuruma.


Considering Amai's low position in the past he was in a bad group. The group was taking advantage of a victim and Yuji happened to be passing by them and he asked them to stop, but they didn't because they thought he's just an ordinary student But Yuji beats them up

Then Yuji asks Amai if he is serious about getting into the Culling Game.

Jujutsu Kaisen will be on Break next week in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 48.

I really thought it was the chick that was about to trick Megumi, but somehow I thought the author would trick us and it would Yuji instead. The two of them will get to have 2 fights, and I believe it will be tough.

I don't think Higuruma will be as troublesome as Mahito shall we say, but I expect Yuji to be challenged for sure. Maybe it would be a good opportunity to see whether he will awaken his own cursed technique.

I’m pretty sure Gojo said he will only eventually be able to use Sukuna’s cursed techniques. I don’t think he will have any Innate cursed techniques and might not even develop a unique one. I think it might be due to some form of heavenly restriction since Yuji was physically stronger than Maki at the start of the series and shes confirmed to actually have one.
Would be great to see Yuji using Sukuna’s techniques though.

I don't think it's heavenly restriction in Yuji's case...as he is able to use cursed energy (unlike Maki or Toji). His ridiculous physical power is probably something else.

I don't know, after all Yuji had some problems with Naoya, who was beaten with a single blow by a tried Maki.

Amai was a member of a delinquent gang (but a very low-level member). While collecting protection money, Itadori passed by and told them to stop. They thought he was just an ordinary middle school kid and tried to beat him up, but Itadori defeated them easily.

Remi leads Fushiguro to the receipt man from last chapter.

His name is Reiji, which is also the term used in Japan for cash registers.

Itadori meets with Higuruma and tries to negotiate, but is rejected. (だが断る I refuse.)

Higuruma is having a bath in a theatre

Eh even with the immunity, Mahito was one tricky son of a bitch. He almost nailed down Yuji as well in Shibuya, and I don't think Yuji got that strong since then. Again, it would surprise me if Higuruma is able to display strength and skill at the same level as Mahito.

Honestly, it seems strange to me that Itadori from Shibuya onwards is no longer enhanced, bearing in mind that it now hosts Sukuna just five fingers from its completion.

Okay, so we are getting Yuuji vs. Higuruma, really looking forward to that fight. Feels like this will be a difficult fight for Yuuji, but that's not a bad thing. I think it'd be nice to see a more high-difficulty fight again. Higuruma is an interesting character, I like the talk about laws, the rules and what not (and from Yuuji's side, the ethics of the culling game).

I'm sure while Fushiguro might have been tricked, he'll pull himself out of this situation in no time.


(also unrelated to this chapter, but wanted to mention this: I've recently started watching HxH (finally lol), and finally begin to see why people compare aspects of JJK to HxH from time to time. Don't dislike that though).
