Megumi has a load of nearly 40 tons

Reggie too starts to sink into the shadows due to Max Elephant

But right then, a truck which had sunk in lifts him up from the shadows

Tho this lessened the weight on Megumi, Reggie then manifested a Two-story house to crush Megumi

Megumi sneaks into Reggie's shadow n deactivates his CT

After a brawl (a bit of fight) Reggie approaches Megumi

But in the next page, Reggie's left ear n right shoulder has been blown off by Black Divine Dog

Reggie collapses, Megumi wins

Glad this fight is over. It was kinda dull, probably the worst Megumi fight in the whole series.
I kinda wish we stuck with the scorpion haired girl. She seemed more fun than Reggie.

I think it was one of the most creative and intrincate fights in the series, easily better than the finger bearer and Kirara ones imo.

Yeah, I agree with RS. Seeing Megumi's development as a sorcerer and his evolving use of his skillset has been great. I guess the issue is more with Reggie? His CT is cool and creates for a good fight, but not feeling him much as a character.

And for dull fights we got the one with Kirara.

Yeah, I agree with RS. Seeing Megumi's development as a sorcerer and his evolving use of his skillset has been great. I guess the issue is more with Reggie? His CT is cool and creates for a good fight, but not feeling him much as a character.

I can see that, but i suppose is because we barely know anything about him, compared to someone like Higuruma. I kinda want for him to survive and stick around, because i kinda like him, plus we are yet to see if he will have any roll moving forward, and he also seems to know a lot of info.

Which is the shame if you ask me because when he first appeared he gave way better wibes.

Oh when he first used his Domain Expansion.
I liked that fight, was quite awesome.

And for dull fights we got the one with Kirara.

This one was awesome I thought. The whole deal with magnetism made it an entertaining fight.

The Kirara fight was fine and had a creative concept, but i feel the execution was a bit clumsy and rough, Gege admited he wanted to adapt to a more Jojo esque style of fight and that was a test, and he wasnt that satisfied with it. (But yeah, stil better than Yuji vs Hakari tho lol)

Thats why i think he has improved a lot with Higuruma and Reggies fights because the execution is more clear, dinamic and on synchrony with the creativity.

Agreed. We also got to know more about Domains and a slight glimpse of megumi's perfected domain.

He will probably survive, I guess Megumi wants to force him to give him points and spit out what he knows about Kenjaku

Doubt we will see Yuji use any of Sukuna’s abilities until the end of this arc/next arc. It’s only natural Megumi can use one now considering his heritage and outstanding talent. Besides Yuji doesn’t really have a drive to kill a human without hesitation unlike Megumi, Sukuna’s motif of his domain expansion exudes death and killing intent and frankly does nothing but kill or maim. Megumi’s has a utility and has tactics behind it not just straight up killing.

Itadori doesn’t even have a cursed technique. His whole thing is being unnaturally durable and strong which when combined with a tiny bit of cursed energy leakage makes him a mid/low level player.

Domain expansion isn’t really something his character has as a logical progression. Sukuna isn’t Kurama, he’s not going to form a partnership with Yuji.

Yuji’s goal is what, eliminating curses altogether right? Sukuna is more about being the all powerful king of the world of curses.

the only barrier type technique I can imagine Yuji even potentially learning is simple domain… but even then his character is more about tanking techniques.

I saw people on JPN Twitter making Leol (HxH) comparisons to Reggie because of the ability/receipt connection, so it's funny that Gege went the drowning route too (though it wasn't fatal here).
