We still dont know if there is gonna be another dude for Panda to have a solo fight before meeting Kashimo, or is Panda just going to be the one meeting Kashimo from the get go and try to hold his own until things escalates and Hakari arrives (possibly along with Charles too)

Kashimo seems to be the most important player of the games so far, and is very likely things gonna change substancially once he is dealt with

It can be that he knows him, OR, he simply has heard all these stories about Sukuna, and Kenjaku told him that he was going to be in this era. So he may also be looking for him to see what the Sukuna hype is all about, after being dissapointed in many of these sorcerers that were weaklings to him.
