Change of scene, 400 years ago.

Kashimo (old age, maybe sick because he is vomiting blood) after a battle with someone. Kenjaku approaches (apparently his body is not suited for battle in this era). Kenjaku said there is a man like a cannon in Edo period who has the greatest CE output in Mutsu (it's in Miyagi prefecture) Mutsu is far away, Kashimo asks Kenjaku, "Who is the most powerful jujutsu sorcerer you know?" Kenjaku said, "Sukuna. I'm sorry to say, but it was 600 years ago, but this is non-negotiable. Kashimo said, "Well then, I'll accept your offer." Then you will be able to fight Sukuna, won't you?

Ah I thought Kashimo had an encounter with Sukuna, but that's not the case... Hakari pulling the jackpot again is insane. Wonder if he will be able to finish off Kashimo by the end of the immortality period.

Kashimo may leave us soon, if his backstory is really revealed ...

Especially in light of the fact that he is not an acquaintance of Sukuna.

Kenjaku from Edo Period

I dont think Kashimo is necessarily dying because his backstory is being revealed. Nanami managed to live even after his backstory was revealed back in the day when he was under Mahitos DE of all places.

Hell even in this arc, people like Ryu who got certain background and even fullfilled his goal (to get dessert), is still alive.

Kashimo was an old man and reincarnated in a young body, while Ryu looked more or less the same ....

Curious to see Uro's possible appearance.

I don't think that's ever really been the case in Jujutsu Kaisen. I can't think of any characters that died after having some of their backstories revealed.

He's a big powerful antagonist, that wants to fight Sukuna. How do you think he could not have a role in the future.

He's only have some difficulty because Hakari is invincible right now.

In my opinion, Kenjaku was referring only to the historical period in which they lived.
