I think they were allied from the get go. He was the spy feeding Kenjaku data about Jujutsu High so no surprises there

I think Mechamaru could’ve easily filmed things using his abilities. This part doesn’t surprise me that much

Apart from the image of Sukuna who shouldn't be there since, as mentioned, he only wake up months later, Kenjaku should have had Geto's body only for a few months, if he have already been in contact with Mechamaru before, then these he should have known it wasn't him, right?

My sense is that Kenjaku was prolly planning for his Geto takeover way before. It happened to be convient for him to have Gojo kill Geto, so he must’ve taken his body shortly after that

Yeah, there are a couple of little inconsistencies in this chapter that Gege will have to address. Most of them are simple fixes, like adding the chest wound to Sukuna. Honestly, Gege should just remove the February 2018 panel. We didn't get a time when Kenjaku went to talk to the Chinese we don't need one here.

On twitter they pointed out that the people who talk to Kenjaku change depending on the page, so it is likely that we will be shown different encounters ....

For people confused about the timeline, february 2018 isn't when Kenjaku met the US president, it's when he started meeting with leaders of the world as his meeting with the chinese and other unknown world leaders are shown.

It appears his meeting with the US president occured much later than february 2018......

Hmm not sure how to feel about this chapter. Normally when a mangaka involves other real life countries things tend to lead nowhere (MHA did this). Feel like in cases like this its always best if the author used fictional countries/settings. AOT and Naruto pulled this off well (With the Kage Summit arc and Marley arcs)

There are sorcerers abroad, but they are rare, it is said in chapter 136.

The implications and setups of both MHA and JJK are completely different. This is in no way a random case like Stars and Stripes, but a development already foreshadowed that organically expands the scale of the story and moves the plot forward, which can lead to much bigger repercussions, specially regarding Kenjakus plans.

If you notice every time Kenjaku is shown, you see that he is speaking to different people and places.

Immediately after the word "February 2018", three men are shown who are no longer seen for the rest of the chapter.

On the next next page we see the Chinese Leader who were already shown in chapter 167 when Reggie mentioned the "bomb".

Then finally we see the Americans and he shows them the video.

Since Kenjaku has met with the leaders over the months, we can assume that the last meeting took place at least after the Goodwill Event

The passage is unclear, if perhaps he had put some panels with the words "August" first, there would have been no confusion.

Anyone else thinking that Kenjaku’s overall plan is to massively increase the negative emotions of the Japanese via all of this brutality visited upon them by other nations, thus increasing the quality and quantity of cursed energy and curses?

Smth is wrong with the timeline. Shibuya occurred in Oct 2018. Did he show them footage of Gojo during those events ? If yes, how is that possible since he met with the americans Feb 2018 ?

Or did he just show them him pwning Jogo ?
