Chap starts with Ijichi asking Gojo abt Prison Realm experience. Gojo says the time lapse feels kinda like same as when one is really busy with work. A week feels hella short but also so long that you don't wanna go over it again

Gojo and the others are at the place where curses first appeared at Shibuya

Gojo's first dialogue of the chap: "It feels like it's been while since I came to Shibuya"

Gojo asks abt the people affected by his unlimited void during Shibuya. Ijichi says they are all recovered. Gojo reaches the top of building & says "Let's get started. Utahime, Grandpa"

Scene switches to Sukuna. Uraume tells him that even tho the fight is meant to happen today, they don't know about Time & Place. But Sukuna says there's no need to decide that as he sees the strong curse aura from a building afar

In a flashback, Gakuganji tells Gojo that he killed Yaga. But Gojo goes "...okay". The principal asks why aren't they all curse him for his deed. Gojo says he doesn't mind & moreover it's his fault since he got sealed & higher ups made grandpa comply

Panda is listening while Gojo asks Grandpa abt Yaga's final words. Grandpa says Yaga revealed how to create Cursed corpse. So Gojo comments "Seems like you changed grandpa" cuz he didn't report it to superiors

Gojo says to Gakuganji that if Grandpa becomes the leader things will be better at least

Gojo leavs after his talk with grandpa. Ijichi asks why does Gojo wants help from him of all people. So Gojo goes, "You don't really get it? You are the one I trust the most"
Flashback Ends. Back to present.

Ijichi is behind Gojo, setting up a barrier. He's sad thinking abt things like he's someone who ran away. But also didn't cuz he wasn't brave enough. But the Strongest said he belives in me. There's no way I can't live up to that expectation

Meanwhile Utahime is performing a dance ritual. Utahime's CT is named as "Solo Solo Kinku". Her cursed technique can enhance the total output of CE of any Sorcerers including herself

The skill of Sorcerers lies in how much they omit the steps that's needed to use their CT. But Gojo, Utahime, Ijichi, Yoshinobu everyone does all required steps to activate their CTS like enchanting lyrics & doing hand signs.

Gojo blast a 200% Hollow Purple toward Sukuna, who tries to counter it The narrator explains that Sukuna misunderstood Gojo's action due to Ijichi forming barrier. Despite Sukuna felt the presence, he couldn't catch the massive amount of CE output blasted at him untill the last second

Sukuna's right hand is burnt and destroyed trying to tank Gojo's attack. Gojo arrives infront of Sukuna & says "Seems like you are misunderstanding, so I'll tell ya. You are the challenger here".

Sukuna is pissed off

Though 200 percent purple didn't seem do that damage, but it is the most damage we've seen anyone inflicted on sakuna so far..

it's just a guess i have no proof but kashimo never struck me as the guy who would wait 1 month to fight sukuna, i think we'll see him defeated in a flashback

I don't think Gojo is a player, if you remember Kenjaku had stipulated that no one could join the competition anymore.

We saw Toge and Yuta walking away from an area that heavily resembles the elders' room last chapter....

Glad they dealt with the Yoshinobu thing, but strange that Kashimo didn't show.

Pretty sure he will be a “Trump Card” should Gojo actually lose the fight. Kind of like a last line of defence should the worst happen. Which let’s face it - is gonna happen because Sukuna has seemingly perfect Mahoraga which defeated a guy with the same skill set as Gojo in the past.

Still weird he wasn’t the first challenger however given his nature.
Most likely there will be a flashback he has with Gojo & the others once his time to shine comes about.

As a personal theory; Gojo probably offered to let Kashimo fight himself [Gojo] should he prove he’s stronger than Sukuna in exchange for compliance with his plans. Either that or Gojo quickly slapped him down and said “You’re simply not strong enough to fight Sukuna, let me.” Be funny to see Gojo say to an overly serious Kashimo “Well if you think Sukuna’s strong wait until I tear him a new one and you fight me”

Also not too sure but it looks like Gojo lost his shit and killed the higher ups. Could’ve still been Kenjaku or Sukuna though - but given what’s occurred they’ve been in Gojo’s crosshairs for a while.

Worth mentioning that the ten shadows technique requires two-hand signs to invoke them. Megumi doesn’t have reverse cursed technique, and as a cursed spirit Sukuna shouldn’t either. Megumi’s deer summon has reversed cursed technique healing but he can’t summon it one-handed.

With the opening salvo alone Gojo just cut off half of Sukuna’s abilities.

Update: my bad, folks! I’d forgotten that Sukuna used reverse cursed technique to resurrect Yuji from a mortal wound after the cursed womb arc. So while the ten shadows technique is unusable right now, if Gojo lets up Sukuna will be able to recover.

Happy that we finally see Utahime CT was betting on it to be some sort of buffing allies the moment we've heard that it involves dancing and singing.

Uraume most likely will face other 3 if Sukuna himself won't target them to stop Utahime CT.
