Yuji is worried as he watches Gojo get slashed but Gojo heals & reattach the cut immediately through RCT. But Higuruma comments that as long as Gojo stays inside Sukuna's domain, the slash attacks will continue

Choso says since Sukuna has open domain, Gojo can get away. Hakari adds that even if Sukuna's domain covers whole Shibuya, Gojo still can escape easily. But Kusakabe says since Gojo's domain got destroyed, Gojo can't use his CT

Sukuna giggles as he continues to slash Gojo's whole body mercilessly but Gojo says he's overwhelming superior in terms of CT usage

Sukuna doesn't let's Gojo to escape and engages in hand to hand combat. While Gojo looks bloody with cuts all throughout his body

Sukuna praises Gojo for keeping up with him. Gojo is continuously using RCT to survive the slashes. He also deduces that the center of Sukuna's domain isn't sukuna himself but the shrine

While watching the fight, Yuji asks what happens if Sukuna's shrine is destroyed. Kusakabe & Mei Mei answers that the animated stuff from one's inner domain might just be symbolic & since even Gojo with six eyes is not attempting it, theres no use in trying to destroy it

Just when everyone thought there's no other way out, Gojo uses "New Shadow Style : Simple Domain"!! Yuji is surprised & asks how did Gojo do it. Kusakabe answers it isn't that Gojo can't do it, it's just that he's not suitable to teach such stuff
Kusakabe doesn't understands how does Gojo can simultaneously cast a simple domain while also heal himself with RCT. Choso answers that it's due to low output of simple domain but this can only buy a lil time
-Gojo's scars looks healed but Sukuna once again slashes Gojo's face & he's pushed to open Simple Domain once again but
-But Gojo has stopped using RCT to heal himself. Ino says, tho Gojo won't run out of CE, that during normal situation. Using RCT which consumes double amount of CE, that too right after using domain must be exhausting

Just as Gojo keeps getting slashed, narrator says "Gonna loose...!? IT'S GOJO SATORU!!" Gojo suddenly entangles Sukuna and Sukuna notices that Gojo's speed has increased and
Yuta realises the reason Gojo wasn't using RCT to heal himself. Rather than to heal wounds, Gojo actually used RCT to restore his burned out CT. And thus leads to GOJO BLASTS AWAY SUKUNA WITH "CURSED TECHNIQUE REVERSAL : RED" Sukuna crashes into his shrine as Gojo casually heals himself again with RCT

It's funny how I enjoy Gojo being the GOAT moreso than any of the other OP characters in other shonen titles.

Gojo is such a likeable character, these last few chapters I’ve felt just as powerless and supportive as the rest of the cast watching this fight. Everyone’s praying he will win. He might be a running gag out of the greater storyline, but he’s done more than anyone else for a majority of the characters within the series and I feel like he’s not just a classic “good guy” type of sensei since he isn’t above massacring people he considers to be annoying (like the higher ups) and that’s what I love about him.

I’m not overly concerned if he wins or loses but I’m here for the ride. What a guy. Guess he won’t go down easy with his students watching huh?

Here's a question for anyone who knows the ins & outs of JJK's power system better than I: Sukuna's a cursed spirit. Cursed spirits are ONLY composed of negative cursed energy, and reversed (or positive) cursed energy is a deadly poison to them. So, that being said: how the balls did Sukuna use reversed cursed energy to bring Yuji back from death back in the first arc when he & Yuji made that binding vow?

Also, how the balls is Sukuna - presumably using reversed cursed energy at present to heal up the arm was annihilated defending from Gojo's opening attack? Is it the fact that he's incarnated into a living human? That I can understand, but I don't get how he was able to do it with Yuji back then.

One theory is that he could be a being like Tengen, or a umnao who has evolved and become something between human and cursed spirit.

Sukuna is no Cursed Spirit. If he were one he would die back in Shibuya when Mahoraga attacked him with his sword on his right arm. In the official JJK Fanbook it’s told that Sukuna was a normal human who split up his remainings in 20 fingers. What he is now is unknow. I think he is a cursed Object.

I thought Sukuna's immunity came from the fact that he's possessing human beings?

Anyway, this fight and this chapter goes so hard I've reread it like ten times now. Which was a good thing becuase I noticed that the first translation were pretty rough, but the newer ones make it much clearer what Gojo actually did at the end. Can't wait for round 2.
