Hakari asks Yuta to calm down & says Gojo asked them to tag in when he gets weaker than them. But Yuta rebukes staying since Sukuna's DE is now disabled, he can help Gojo by handling the two shikigamis with Rika. Yuji takes Yuta's side & encourages him to go for it

In between, Maki tells Kashimo to not forget his role. If he's defeated then some of the insurance(back-up plan) will be gone. And Yuta adds that they should take up this gamble saying if they just win against Sukuna now then the insurance won't be needed at all

Hakari suspects that Sukuna might have a Trump Card & is preserving it for later. So if the sorcerers meddle into the fight now, Sukuna might use it on them

Sukuna not being able to give his everything & Gojo at his best without any hindrance, this setup has the highest winning probability. Yuta sulks thinking he might just be a hindrance but Kashimo tells that's not the point. This is Gojo's fight & it's lame to interfere

Back to the fight. Gojo evades Agito & Maho's attacks & lands a solid hit on Agito(seems like Black Flash but I'm not sure) But that does no damage to Agito. It tries to attack with its tail but Gojo just rips it off

Agito heals back it's tail. Gojo realises that Agito is made up of 'Nue' that inherited 'Great Serpent', 'Mourn Tiger' & 'Round Deer'!! But since it's not adapted to Limitless, Gojo plans to destroy Agito in One-shot like Mahoraga

Mahoraga slashes some bricks towards Gojo & attacks him but Gojo dodges & gives it a sharp Kick

Gojo thinks it'll be troublesome if Agito heals Sukuna so he plans to destroy it first. Sukuna also makes plans within the shadow, to not let Gojo use 'Purple' When Gojo blasted 120% Purple, he was able to face it since he was far away & got away with just arms blown off

But Sukuna says he's not in his best conditions now, so if he gets hit with 100% 'Purple' right now, then it'll be fatal Sukuna then urges Mahoraga "How long are you gonna make me wait? You're MY shadow, not Megumi Fushiguro's. Show me what you got"

Mahoraga cuts Gojo arm.

Sukuna praises Mahoraga while the sorcerers are confused & panicking. Shoko screams that this isn't good for Gojo cuz his healing is weak right now

Sukuna reappers from the shadow & kicks Gojo towards Agito who's waiting with an attack ready to hit Gojo


Agito lands a punch on Gojo's head. But Gojo summons a 'Blue' orb & tells Agito with a maniac smile that from a while ago, it wasn't worthy enough to be here

Gojo's Blue totally crushes Agito & destroys it. Narrator then tells that after this, 41 seconds have passed. AND GOJO'S PURPLE HAS RIPPED THROUGH THE BATTLEFIELD IN SHINJUKU!!! No Break Next Week

We don't know. Just that it happened 41 seconds after Blue: Maximum.

Which means we will probably see the build up to purple next chapter - which will probably be the penultimate [or one before] chapter for this fight.

True to his word, Sukuna is gradually removing Gojo's scales. Its almost certain Gojo will not die now so Gojo fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Help is on standby.

exactly what i was thinking and if gojo succed to cast purple then im pretty sure maho is down for good, sukuna’s not heal, that’s for sure (agito being destroyed and all the shikigamis used in the fusion process), but he may not be down himself. Gojo may suffer bigger damage than here in this chapter. What’s bothering me is that the shikigami’s powers may be transfer to another one or at the end sukuna himself. Maybe that purple is unlimited in a way where it can’t be stop until gojo command to or either go down. It can bring more versatility to his fighting style with the bit of strengh that remains to him.

Maybe he did it while doing Blue? I know it's sounds like a bit of the stretch but remember - Gojo should be in his zone right know since he used black flash.

Therefore i was thinking about the well’s unknown abyss where it can be destroyed without harming nue and toad. I really hope it’s not the same with Agito and i don’t think so since great serpent was already destroyed. We also haven’t see nue yet and round deer while sukuna could have used it for a long time to heal and preserve his rce

I had the same feeling!! Awesome fight, though I can't imagine Gojo sacrificing his life...too many people watching.

Completely forgot Uraume, she is atleast big three level being able to hold Maki so easily.

I am glad Studio Mappa makes JJK anime because if if was released by Toei in week-to-week cycle this fight would have duration of 20 episodes. Such long and dynamic fight, it would look great when animated.

As per usual the final translation clears things up. Sukuna not showing everything because he has so many to fight, should he win, is brilliant. The discourse is all leaning toward how unfair this fight is for Gojo, but of the two he's the only one that can go all out.

This chapter also finally explained why they're not going after Kenjaku.

Gojo should ''strategically retreat'', let the sorcerers heal him first, then, fight again. Technically in a lot of fights in manga, where the main character has a lot of mobility, they can do this, so would like to see some mangaka actually show this tactic.

I believe Sukuna is still giving his all with respect to using everything that is effective against Infinity. I don't think his trump card is something he can necessarily beat Gojo with; he'd have already used it by now if so, as he can defeat the entire remaining cast with Shrine and Ten Shadows pretty handily.

I think Gege has pretty cleverly made this into a fight that nerfes Sukuna by having Gojo just be untouchable. Sukuna cannot give his all because he simply has limited options in landing a blow. That said, he's using all effective abilities for Gojo, but saving other powerful abilities for the others, as the latter would likely be useless against Limitless anyway.

This way, we can say both are giving their all instead of arguing that Sukuna has to hold back, as that would undermine Gojo's power.
Still, Sukuna HAS to have cursed energy left by the end, which is a disadvantage.

I've been thinking. What if Gojo damages Sukuna too much pushing him to the point of need to change his body again? For example, maybe Sukuna can incarnate in Uraume's body. This could be a way to save Megumi.

Which is exactly why I think the whole fight with a 10 shadow user & a six eye ,limitless user fighting in the past was brought up in the first place. That’s probably the only technique that can’t take Gojo out.
