But it's not a given that he'll take on Sukuna. He could also tackle Uraume.

Higuruma is all about DE, and we've seen that it's of little use against Sukuna.

Something I've noticed in this chapter is "eyes." Sukuna has his four and so does Kishimo. It's pretty wild what Kishimo can do with his eyes, i.e. x-rays and who knows what else, but Sukuna must also be able to do something with his eyes. Like his ability to chant, craft, and flawlessly construct "mantle." Gojo's six eyes, Sukuna's eyes (which are clearly more than just faster information intake), and Kishimo's eyes indicate higher forms within the Jujutsu Kaisen world. The third eye is clearly synonymous with "further sight." I wonder what Sukuna's eyes do.

Agreed. My bet is that Yuuji is an universal vessel: he can eat all cursed objects and learn all CT's.
But why Kenjaku made him this wait? Maybe his ultimate goal is pull out some Orochimaru shit? He already looks like Orochima in the sense that he swaps bodies to keep living on. Now Yuuji has the potential learn all the "jutsus". Does he want to take over Yuuji body some point down the ladder and be the ultimate sorcerer/curse?
