Chainsaw man’s first arc was shorter, better written, and more interesting. What it’s become now…ehhh… but the conflict was a vehicle that drove the plot forward.i think comparing it to decade-old 700 chapter mangas is exactly the problem. This isnt meant to be a long term, world building, ultra depthful experience.
Its a shorter, incredibly interesting story with characters that phase in and out of life in a war over humanity's imminent extinction.
But most surface level consumers surprisingly have a problem with that.
Precisely. After seeing how incredibly animated this manga became, I seriously dont understand how anyone can bitch about it.
I think it purely stems to a lack of imagination and a need for whatever isn't provided, capitalistic hyper consumer hype beast boom boom pow.
Its somehow surprising that people arent satisfied with what they call battle porn xD
it’s fine to like JJK but let’s not pretend it’ll be remembered as one of the greats.
