i think comparing it to decade-old 700 chapter mangas is exactly the problem. This isnt meant to be a long term, world building, ultra depthful experience.
Its a shorter, incredibly interesting story with characters that phase in and out of life in a war over humanity's imminent extinction.

But most surface level consumers surprisingly have a problem with that.



Precisely. After seeing how incredibly animated this manga became, I seriously dont understand how anyone can bitch about it.
I think it purely stems to a lack of imagination and a need for whatever isn't provided, capitalistic hyper consumer hype beast boom boom pow.

Its somehow surprising that people arent satisfied with what they call battle porn xD

Chainsaw man’s first arc was shorter, better written, and more interesting. What it’s become now…ehhh… but the conflict was a vehicle that drove the plot forward.

it’s fine to like JJK but let’s not pretend it’ll be remembered as one of the greats.

So you only read the first 5 chapters. Ok...CSM is about a billion times more character and plot driven than jjk.

Having girl/boyfriends and having sex is the actual subconscious reason teenagers do pretty much anything. There is honesty and brilliance in that. And the story calls out the "ridiculousness" of his motivation many times.

No bro, i’m still reading till now, i don’t even Watch the anime one time because i don’t Watch tv, i’m just exaggerating here because you all wanna talk about jjk story and characterization and compare it to chainsaw man like it’s something comparable…

If you see substance in denji mindset more than yuji´s, i can’t help you…
Different story, different vibe that’s it, but don’t compare the incomparable…
