Chap begins with small flashback to Sukuna & Uraume talking about Yuji. Uraume asks Sukuna who even is Yuji cuz he has an unexplainable power just from the residual cursed energy that Sukuna left in him before separating

After Sukuna ate his twin in the womb, the twin's soul went through cycles. And Kenjaku procreated with the person who had Sukuna's twin's soul, which is Jin Itadori. And that led to birth of Yuji. So Yuji is not Sukuna's twin but Jin Itadori



Uraume wonders if Yuji also has the same innate potential as Sukuna


Back to Sukuna & Yuji facing each other

Yuji hits 2 black flashes back to back on Sukuna


Yuji is pushed back as he lands on a pillar, which he slices & throws it towards Sukuna Narrator explains that Yuji currently has 2 Curses techniques in him. “Blood Manipulation” from death paintings and SUKUNA'S CT “MIZUSHI”(SHRINE)!!!!


Yuji grabs hold of Sukuna's leg and tries to slice it off using Shrine CT but Sukuna quickly sends slashes towards him. Yuji rushes through the slashes, unfazed, and hits Sukuna with another Black Flash

Sukuna realizes Yuji has the same cursed technique as his but there's some difference due to era & representation of user Sukuna thinks it's still ridiculous that Yuji is able to use it. Since he just learnt about it, the output of the slashes are low

Small flashback to Ino asking permission from Gojo, Shoko & Ijichi to use Nanami's cursed tool cuz they were Nanami's old friends & they knew him more. But Gojo reassures Ino that he can use Nanami's cursed tool cuz Nanami trusted Ino more out of anyone


Ino uses his cursed technique to summon Dragon & attacks. Sukuna easily slices off the dragon & grabs hold of Nanami's cursed tool with his feet but he senses Yuji behind him ready to attack


Yuji hits Sukuna with another black flash!!!
Sukuna gets agitated as he thinks that Yuji has been landing Black Flashes as if it's nothing Sukuna is enraged as he wonders if Yuji is intending to stand on equal grounds with him!!

Sukuna destroys the landing they were on and tries to punch Yuji as soon as he lands, but Yuji grabs hold of his arm and punches him back to the wall.Sukuna is totally enraged at Yuji as he screams “YOU BRATT!!” but he gets hit with Nanami's blunt knife which Ino had threw as a last push. This gives Yuji time to prepare for another Black Flash as Ino says “I think I did alright for someone like me. Hit him hard, Yuji
(7 in this chap & 1 in last chap, so total 8 Black Flashes so far )

Who ever first theorized that Yuji is Sukuna’s twin is goated. And whoever also first theorized that Sukuna’s CT is shrine, is also goated. So there we have it, battle of the strongest in history vs strongest now.

Actually it's much better twist imo because there was always a question what was so special about Jin cause no way Kenjaku would pick some random dude now we know.

Loved to see Sukuna's face struggling to accept the fact that Yuji has the upper hand at this point. And I really liked how Yuji put a twist to Sukuna's CT.

Kenjaku's legend as the creepiest character of JJK just keeps growing.

The best thing about Yuji fighting Sukuna is unpredictability. We don't know how it will turn out. It's just such different and fun scenario compared to Yuta, Miguel, Kusakabe, Mai and others fighting Sukuna - we knew he'll obliterate them, with Yuji it's different. He's on different level of potential than Yuta and others and he only just begin to tap into it.

The best thing about Yuji fighting Sukuna is unpredictability. We don't know how it will turn out. It's just such different and fun scenario compared to Yuta, Miguel, Kusakabe, Mai and others fighting Sukuna - we knew he'll obliterate them, with Yuji it's different.

That’s so much better in my opinion. Didn’t really like the twin theory given how Sukuna interacts with him. I feel he would be a bit less dismissive maybe if that was the case.
