ARGUBAlly the worst anime chapter I’ve seen in a long time.

this chapter did absolutely NOTHING. I’d prefer Gege had not put out a chapter and wait until they are feeling better (if they are indeed sick).
I legit blinked and it was over.

also one thing I’m not getting is.. Yuji was legit getting the upper hand.

Before Sukuna use the domain again.

I dunno what to comment... On one side Yuji is getting the upper hand then get a backhand slap and fall like nothing, then Yuta use a domain and sub estimate Sukuna then get some punchs... I think Yuta will die in the next chapter, he's not used to Gojo body and techniques (even after swapped soul with him). Sukuna will chop him like a carrot in the next chapter.

If it's cois, it would be the stupidest comeback in history, he might as well not have done it at all.

The chapter is short not just because of the plot
The author is sick, new chapter in 3 weeks

I think it's obvious at this point that it's a chapter truncated in half, it's probably just part of a longer chapter that the author couldn't complete.

When WSJ allows mangaka to release a 9-page chapter like this, it tells me the series is about to close and they want to milk it to death for as much as possible quarter to quarter.

I notice, MHA finally released 19 pages and then, goes on an extended break, too.

I'm guessing, HxH is due to come back in the next month and One Piece will be on it's usual stint every other week with it's slow-paced story progress.

There is hope, in "Kengan Omega", "Mao" and "Kingdom". Pretty good reads, imo better, too.

I'm guessing, HxH is due to come back in the next month and One Piece will be on it's usual stint every other week with it's slow-paced story progress.

I soooo hope your prediction about HxH is true. The comeback of the best narrativewise manga with crazy good power system and no clear main character would be soooo good.

Also there's option that Kubo will make comeback with Bleach and Hell Arc. That would be good too. Along JJK Bleach has most entertaining fights and choreography.

I am talking that he should prolong the break rather than releasing chapter with 7 pages. It could really wait for the end of his longer break, if he's sick, let him rest instead of releasing quarter-chapter like that. Seems like SJ is pushing him, but it's not okay. I'd rather wait 3 months for full chapter than read 7 page chapter pushed by publisher.

You've got me. I don't read MHA I've been watching this and sometimes watch some fights in the anime, but the plot is so bad, uninteresting and boring that I can't imagine myself reading this manga. It was good at the beginning but 7 seasons of fighting basically the same villain isn't interesting, at least with this heroes and villains.

Why not? It's the perfect moment because of resuming the anime. It still has 2 seasons to go, after that Pierrot could animate new arc - hell arc. Businesswise the moment never've been better since many years.

Judging by the fact that this chapter seems to be cut off in half and that the author went back on break almost immediately, I can think that this illness was a sudden thing and he didn't have time to finish the chapter.

Because most probably third season is already fully animated and preparing to air.

It would only work after that if:

He either announces hell arc soon and do a monthly release because he doesn't like writing on other people pace, so that pierrot can have some base to do anime about

Hell arc be fully anime original without manga as a foundation

And I dunno what was that "Er, No" reply from Franz about.

If there's one thing Kubo do is tease hell arc to Bleach fans.

Yikes. I dont know about that chief, i would never put Bleach and choreography in the same sentence, Bleach fights are kinda stiff and weak imo, despite the good art of Kubo. Sakamoto Days is the one with action and chroeography on par with JJK

You must not be watching the same bleach tbh. The fights are well paced, well choreographed, animated and the soundtrack is just ooof. Amazing.

Story wise and pacing sure, it lacks sometimes. It should've ended after aizen but there was a lot to tell. Even now there is. Hell, kids, other opponents. It has a lot of potential but Kubo reached a roadblock.
