The thematic scenery in Yuji’s domain suggests that the nature of it is nonviolent. Could be a “violence is prohibited, and they either leave together or not at all” kind of deal. Matrix 3 had a similar plot device with the train man.
Between sumo dude, the prosecutor, the comedian, and others with unusual domains, Yuji has seen a variety of ways to execute a domain.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer Yuji came up with for beating Sukuna is something out of the box of cursed energy violence.
Who knows, the only escape from this domain may be Sukuna relinquishing Fushigoro and possessing Yuji again, so a “only Itadori Yuji and Fushigoro Megumi may leave” condition. So Yuji might’ve completely nerfed his domain to target only one possible scenario.
