Synopsis:
From mangaupdates: Ayuzawa Misaki is the student council president of the former all-boy school, Seika High School. In order to protect the girls, she battles the boys everyday. On the other hand, she secretly works at a "Maid Cafe". But a popular boy from school, Usui Takumi, found out! Living in between the double identity of a Maid and a student council president~

I just finished reading this manga up to the most recent Edited Manga. Recently scans have been coming out about every week and a half. It reminds me a bit of Special A, but the lead female is different. It's just really good. Anyone else read this?

-amused- It reminds you of SA? XD Well, I guess I can see where you're coming from, since both have to deal with super-talented all-rounder main characters. I like Misaki. She's got spunk, and a spark of ...strength I guess, when she deals with the boys in order to save the girl minority. And Usui is well, Usui. He's always there for Misaki, whether she wants his help of not, lmao.

yay! someone else reads this! I really like Usui's design. The only problem with Misaki is that she seems to revert to her original personality every few chapters. Usui's too nice to make her jealous, so we'll see what happens. probably something to do with why he's not living with his family.

I think that the cutest scene in the manga (so far) was when he carried her over his shoulder into the woods lol. what about you?

Meh, you get used to it. It's shoujo, what can you do. -shrugs-

Hrm. This would require me to go through the series, and there's a cute scene each chapter. XD My favorite would be one of the earlier instances, where Usui saves her from Miyabigaoka's kaichou. Chapter 8 I think.

oo, that was a good one. i'm too lazy to check where it is too.

well, the reason i read this is because it is a shoujo, i'm not really expecting too much action. That's why i read bleach, naruto, etc... it's generic, a bit, but i really like the characters.

a funny scene was when usui jumped off the roof. the look on misaki's face was priceless. he looked cool banged up and a bit frantic too, rather than cool. He needs a changed of facial expression once in a while.

I wish that they would start progressing into a real plot, not to say I don't enjoy all those cute moments they have! But I really want to see some kind of hints for an ending.
Oh, and Kanou + Yukimura = love.

Yukimura and Kanou are really cute, it's too bad yaoi sort of freaks me out. their relationship can't really pass as anything else, though. *sigh*

Wow, this series has been heating up recently. I like.
But the transition into the student council elections really didn't fit at all. It was too rushed and left too many "whaaaaat...? i wanted moar."

But I can only guess this manga has a looong way to go, considering Usui's mysterious background. Honestly kinda of a generic story build, but I absolutely love this one nonetheless. I want more Usui x Misaki.

Anyone else notice that this manga is having less and less to do with its own title? heh

I!m really curious about usui!!His past!
The manga is already up till vol 7 but there's still no story bout his background!!
But that's what makes Usui more cool dont you think?
The mysterious and cool air around him!
I dont really like school life-shoujo manga but this could be an exception!

His history better be exceptionally interesting! The anticipation is killing me!!! Hopefully, it is not the usual rich boy who has poor relations with his family, etc...
Please do not disappoint me~

And there I was thinking that Usui is probably going to leave Misaki for good or something... Since he said that they had precious little time (left?). And since the rich kid said that something interesting was going to happen without his interference, I wonder what's going to happen next!

Ah, This series is a killer. I especially like the progressing chemistry between Usui and Misaki. They're perfect together. Hinata is a super cutie so i hope he gets a girl too. He's just so adorably sweet to misaki and he expects to beat Usui. I finished 38 and it's just killing me to find out what happens next. 39 is out but i haven't read it yet. The art is gorgeous and I enjoy this series a lot. Despite the maid theme, i usually don't like it..., this series is a keeper. Two thumbs up, 10/10. It's an all around goody. Don't miss out.

lol not too extreme but i think she's just coming to terms with the fact that she really WANTS this guy. who wouldn't +shot+ if i were her i'd jump at him each time i saw him XD
